Meh...Trump has been lying and using the legal system to get what he wants for years, wasting a lot of money along the way. None of them have that in them to do that.

If trump is eligible to run in 2024 he will run and he win win the R nomination. If he runs as an Independent the GOP will suffer their worst ever defeat in presidential elections.

I agree that it matters if a Trump (children, in-law with the Trump name) wins a political seat, especially if it's to the Senate or The House...those are good stepping stones to the White House.

I don't see it. Don Jr. and Eric are seen, even by Trumpers, as fanboys for their father, not leaders. They don't have ANY gravitas. Ivanka has an immediate couple of strikes against her with Trumpers because not only is she a woman, but she's Jewish.

None of them will ever be elected President, and DJT won't be re-elected in 4 years. Who knows if Baron will ever be talented enough to run, but those other ones will not get elected.

Assuming you're not kidding, holy cow, have you not watched the lying and twisting that his sycophants have already done on his behalf? At this point, you still put folks like DeSantis and Graham and Cruz and Meadows and so many more (including a potential new crop of Trump Learners we've never heard of) on a MUCH higher plane than Trump? No.

Yes...seriously. No, I don't put them on a MUCH higher level than Trump. Still, they are NOT Trump...they don't have the willingness to fight like he does...he thrives off of it. He also is used to dragging things out in the courts and spending time and MONEY to do that. NONE of them have that in them. The will be obstructionists, they will demonize Democrats, but they will NOT do things on the level of what Trump has done. For sure and without question.

There was an interesting piece in the Atlantic not long about about the Trump kids and what their future roles might be.

Apparently DJT is all in on Ivanka as being the best of the bunch. She's apparently pretty liberal though, and the quote said something about her having to make sure any policy fit with her friends in Aspen, Colorado..

Don Jr. apparently is not Trump's favorite, and it sounds like they didn't get along well. Don Jr basically being a drunk fratboy, but he is very interested in guns, hunting, stuff like that. He apparently isn't very smart but relates well to the rural rightwing types who hunt, etc, as he speaks their language.

Eric, who I always thought was the dumb one, has apparently been carrying most of the load running the Trump organization while DJT is gone.

They ended with Don Jr. being the most likely to carry forward in politics. It seems to suit more than the others, and he can talk to average Republicans in a way they understand.
