I didn;t defend the militia, I defended the sherriff. I forgot the detail of why. He was describing various crimes, not assuming the obvious was true. That is usually a very good trait in a leo.

As a side note, I'm not guaranteeing my position above. It's foolish to guarantee anything in politics. I'm putting it at a high probability in my mind, say 80-90%. I do think there is a small chance that Trumpism is sustained.

All you need to know that that sheriff is an asshat is would his same logic apply if someone had a citizens arrest of him? That should be okay because they would believe they have cause to lawfully arrest a police officers, any police officers. And everyone knows how that turn out. I’m not ready to make a prediction but yeah I agree there is just no way to rule the trump children out. From a Dem’s perspective it doesn’t seem plausible but +70 million people just voted for trump after 4 years of horror. They want more blood and if the GOP believes Don Jr can be their next useful idiot to keep the blood thirst going they will prop him. This is not delusion, I’m just following logic and the trend here.
