The events in Michigan display that - they stole hundreds of thousands of Dem votes.

I'm not sure how this gets better.

The only hope is that with Trump out of power Republicans start acting like patriots again.

That republican election official in GA admitted that Graham asked him to find a way to toss votes. Think about that. If this was Nixon and not Trump, the GOP would have executed a cover up 100%. Trump has already committed so many more crimes and nobody cares.

The GOP is not going to change dude. They are most likely keeping the Senate and picked up House seats. The electorate wants them in power just the way they are, otherwise they would have been soundly rejected. We the people are broken people. Once you rig the voters themselves there is no chance. Seriously, I can't think of much the GOP could do collectively or individually that would finally make the base stop and think.

Here's what will happen. Whatever stain trump and GOP manage to leave on Biden and election results will carry forward. Sentiment isn't going the other way. The right will obstruct Biden to no end and will continue to promote division. They're not leaving that road because they have been rewarded for all they've done.

I'm a big believer in the big man theory of history. That individual men guide nations and history, for good and for bad.

I think DJT is one of those big men, who was able to step in and lead a nation in a new direction.

I think there is a good chance that now that he is out of power, his leadership will not be very powerful. I think the fever in the nation may recede.

On the other hand, if DJT stays politically relevant - and he may -then the nation is in for a world of merde.

This reminds me of one of the parents who lost their kid in the Sandy Hook shootings. If you still pretend or believe, even after losing someone, that there is no problem, then its not possible to make any progress. From the beginning, I knew a lot of americans would not like a strong response to COVID and many would not even believe it regardless of who is president. But of course, trump threw gasoline on that fire immediately so here we are suffering all this unnecessary death but the masses were lured into complicity so we are simply paralyzed. American freedumb.
