Adding to this - 2 more links / studies. 64 "unarmed" people are killed by police per year, 23 black. The amount of unarmed people not resisting arrest who are killed by police per year probably can be counted on one hand.
This report presents original findings from the most comprehensive study of the accuracy of public perception with respect to the prevalence and racial distribution of police use of force. The report is divided into four main...
Maryland is a (deep) blue state and Baltimore is an even more Democratic city. Life expectancy like north Korea. Democrats are hypocrites - they don't care about problems in blue cities in blue states (e.g. San Francisco, Seattle, DC*, Baltimore, etc)
*not in a state
you cherry pick chicago and baltimore.
That's two places.
I tell you 97% of the poorest counties are in R states.
that's a lot of places. So I think I won that one.
If I were you, I'd be more worried about the many poor places. I mean have you looked at the poorest states? 9/10 of them are Republican. You guys wrecked your own backyard, get bailed out from the very rich cities you mock, then want to wreck the cities.
You're worse than Zelenskyy. You must show some gratitude to the rich blue states that subsidize red states. Or we'll cut you off until you issue a formal apology.

Notice here that Bondi says DOJ and FBI employees will be fired if they don't like Trump. Not if they fail to uphold their oaths to the rule of law. Amazing the way these people that know what is right and wrong reconcile what they are doing in their brains. She equates not liking Trump to not being Honest and not doing the right thing. It is very easy to see how an authoritarian movement can quickly corrupt a country. The Corrupt ruler's lawless viewpoint replaces the rule of law.
AG Bondi: "There are a lot of people in the FBI and also in the DOJ who despise Donald Trump, despise us, don't want to be there. We will find them. Because you have to believe in transparency, you have to believe in honesty, you have to do the right thing. We're gonna root them out and they will no longer be employed."

It is noteworthy that Bondi and others often cite the fact that people "hate" Trump as the reason they need to be "fired, disciplined, investigated or thrown in jail." Not that they have done anything wrong or illegal.
But in reality most people in the world hate Trump. It is overwhelming. It is an unspoken secret that most people around Trump that are sucking up to him for power or money personally hate Trump. Most are on record saying Trump is a piece of crap. The GOP lawmakers all secretly hate Trump. Even our Trump voters on this message board admit that they don't really like Trump but like his "policies".
When a guy punches down on people his whole life and treats others like garbage it is natural to hate that guy. And yet all we get from Trump is whining victimhood that he is not treated "fairly" by everyone.
You better not hate Trump because is you do hate Trump you will pay.
In which we are reminded that Trump-Russia was not a hoax, and revel in one of the first and last honorable acts by a Trumper, ever.
The White House verifies that Jared Kushner met with Sergey Kislyak alongside Michael T. Flynn at New York City's Trump Tower in December 2016.[256]
Attorney General Jeff Sessions recuses himself from any inquiries involving allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 American election.[253]
Trump 1 Scandal Blotter
In which Trump made the swamp deeper and made it clear to the world that he would continue his amoral crimey ways in office.
And the veep was worse with email security than HRC. Of course.
You absolute idiots.

The White House hires three former lobbyists in agencies they had lobbied against, in violation of President Trump's own ethics rules.[260] An ethics course for new White House staff is eliminated.[261] It is revealed that a personal email Vice President Mike Pence had used as Governor of Indiana was hacked.[262]
Trump 1 Scandal Blotter
In which trump first concocts the lie that the Obama admin was spying on the Trump Campaign.
The truth is, because the Trump campaign was working hand in hand with Russia, a FBI counter-intelligence investigation was necessary.
From the start, the Trump campaign has tried to dismantle law enforcement agencies and make americans distrust them, and this was an early move against the FBI. Remember that the main mission of the Putin/Republican Party is to destroy American institutions and have 1/3 of the country trust only Russia's asset DJT.

In a series of tweets, President Trump publicly accuses former President Obama of intercepting communications at his offices in New York City's Trump Tower in October 2016; Obama spokesman Kevin Lewis denies the claim.

She's not really reconciling (correctly or incorrectly) anything regarding the matter. The ONLY thing that she's reconciling is her desire to be the AG, and remain relevant in the Republican party. Shameless ambition, just like with Vance and Rubio and Graham and basically every R Senator, most all R Reps, and the vast, vast majority of the rest of the party.
A potential silver lining to Trumpism - that America will, OF COURSE, fail to take advantage of - is that Trumpism is a GREAT reminder of how dumb it is to exalt "intelligence" too much, and NOT exalt "character" nearly enough. So, so, so many Ivy League educated Rs who are easily smart enough to see Trump and Trumpism for what it is, and yet that's COMPLETELY meaningless because they don't have the character to do the right thing.
Instead, we'll continue to glow about how "SMART!!!" people are, while way too often giving a pass for clear character deficiencies.

But hey, at least she didn't lie through her teeth at the confirmation hearings......
Equal Opportunity Criticism (though not NEARLY as harsh): A prominent D Senator (Murphy, maybe?) said, after Friday's Oval Office embarrassment, the he regretted voting for Rubio. On the one hand, it's nice to hear that, because it's so deserved. On the other hand, it's absurd, because OF COURSE that Senator knew that by even CONSIDERING being in Trump's cabinet, Rubio was telling the world whether or not we'd see the "reasonable," "that's a defensible pick" side of him.
As we know, Trump I had non-Trumpers in important positions. They're ALL gone, and every D Senator knew that when they were voting.
Sums up rhe stupidity of American politics pretty well:
“I honestly don’t know what strategy you’re supposed to use to beat a candidate who literally tells people he’s going to do something idiotic and people vote for him because they think he won’t actually do it.”

He literally said he was going to do all of this.
The people that voted for him either didn’t believe him or they didn’t understand what it meant.

Let's be more explicit and less kind to those not deserving it: Rather than the nebulous "American politics," it sums up the stupidity of nearly 50% of AMERICAN CITIZENS WHO VOTE.
