I have heard many Christians say Catholics are not Christians.

College kids don't have to move to blue states. They can move to big cities in red and purple states. They can move to Atlanta, Phoenix, Charlotte, Miami, Houston, San Antonio,etc. They can turn red states to purple, and purple states to blue. it's already happening in GA and AZ, and it has already happened in VA.

I can't speak for all, but Baptist doctrine says that it's not baptism itself that makes you a Christian. Rather, it is the decision to follow Jesus. Baptism is just an outward expression of that decision.

IMO, that pretty much says that Catholics can be Christians too.

In general I've become more fact- and evidence-oriented with age, resulting in changes in my opinions about religion, climate change, politics, and so on. I've realized that a true John Galt world is neither attainable nor desirable.

Any Christian church that says that Catholics are not Christians would just be wrong.
