That one is easy.

The struggle of someone who is trans-gender or who wants an abortion is real. Right or wrong, it's a real struggle.

Trump lost the election. Saying otherwise is a denial of reality. If you watch Newsmax to feed your denial then you are sad indeed.

Just open your eyes and face reality.

The relief came out in celebration. We have never been this close to being ruled by a dictator before in our nation. It was absolutely necessary for our Democracy to have that Orange fool lose.

I remember right after Trump won in 2016, MSNBC got a huge ratings boost. I think liberals were tuning in just to find out if everything was going to be all right. MSNBC responded with coverage of the resistance movement, such as the women's march and Indivisible.

A similar thing is happening in conservative media. But it's not solace or action that conservatives are pining for. Conservative viewers are desperate to escape to a different reality. Instead, of "Please tell me how we can fix this", conservatives are saying, "Please lie to me so I will feel better."

I've been aware of this since at least the late 90s. Newt led the way in the most recent revolution of priming the base to start hating more and demanding blood. The base did just that and started to expect that their Republican leaders become brutal. The GOP failed to deliver to the base's liking multiple times, and each time the politics then grew darker and more cannibalistic until this... Now we have 70 million blood thirsty mouth breathers demanding a trump victory that is impossible. The disappointment will just force them to step up their anger once more and who the hell knows what kind of candidate the party will produce next to try to satisfy them. They don't know civility and fairness.
