1) JUST stupid.

My in-laws are just stupid. They are not racist. Both of them went to college, but stupid is as stupid does, and they voted for Trump, so that makes them stupid. Can I love a stupid person? Of course. We are all given our gifts...we have no say in what our talents are. Can I love a racist person? No.

Just more evidence that polls don't seem to matter as much as previously though. Allan Lichtman and his 13 Keys have really solidified their accuracy with this election. Doesn't mean he will be right all the time, but his keys have proven to be very solid predictors.

Of course, Norpoth took it on the chin this time. I think he's on to something to the extent that how people actually vote can be a more accurate predictor than polls, but there are so many variables that Norpoth ignores that his "Primary Model" can be way off, as it was this year.

The problem is that his model makes the call right at the primary. SO many things can happen between then and election day that can be for or against a candidate. Also, his model doesn't account for an incumbent who will do decidedly better in the primaries than any challenger, especially if there are a lot of candidates in the challenging party.

1) I'm glad you are not a member of the Flagpole Fan Club. I do not want fans. I'm just a poster. Not worthy of "fans", and I don't want or seek them.

2) You are CORRECT in how you explained what I have said about Trump supporters.

3) You are CORRECT that I say most things more than once. Unfortunately I have found that at least half the populous is stupid and needs to have things repeated often several times to even have a glimmer of a chance of understanding it.
