Sure, it a joke, everything is a joke. He certainly didn't mean it to suggest Trump didn't lose the election, or add fuel to the conspiracy theories. Certainly no Trump supporter would believe this and take action, right? What's the harm? It's not like misinformation on this topic is a big deal.
Hey look, another joke according to trumpers - Pompeo is preventing Biden from seeing official messages from world leaders sent to the State Department. We need to wait for trump to feel up for conceding though, we need to respect his pettiness.
I'd just point out that Real Obvi's use of the word "hysteria" seems to be leading and intended to provoke a visceral reaction. If a virtually equivalent, but less leading description, like "extreme concern" were substituted in the above sub-thread his point would just seem silly.
Since the beginning of his 2016 campaign, and earlier with the birther nonsense, Trump's tactics have been that of a troll. The essential dilemma with a troll is that you either allow disinformation to stand unchallenged or you get drawn into a rebuttal that validates the claim as worthy of discussion. There is no clear path victory if your opponent has no regard for truth or the strength of social institutions.
