How are you taking advantage of it - selling a bunch of stocks that you bought low?
Looks like the Biden win is pushing the Dow towards that 30,000 number Sally was calling for.

Uncertainty ending and a very positive vaccine report are the drivers.
It is obscene how much money on paper this translate for me. I really wish most Americans would just invest even 5% of their income to ensure a happier retirement.

As a non-american who has been super caught up reading about all this election drama over the past few days, if there is one thing that's completely obvious to me, it's that the "left" and "right" are not nearly as different as they think they are. You all come across in the same hateful and immature manner as the next person does. Same idiot standing on opposite sides of the fence.
Just do what Canada does and hate your government in unison lol. Stephen Harper and the conservatives? We ****ing hated them. Trudeau and the liberals? We ****ing hate them too.
Well, your observation is crap. Our country has never been so divided, and it is because of Donald Trump. No, he didn't start it, but he is not just a symptom, He is a secondary infection that got out of control. He has empowered racists in our country when they were on the run. He has empowered people to be cruel. He has trampled on the US Constitution including but not limited to the First Amendment. He is the first US President ever to seriously challenge the fact that we are a Democracy. He spoke about running for a third term because he didn't like the way he was treated in this first one. Umm...how about no. The Constitution says no. He doesn't give a sh!t about what it says.
This is not a dispute about policy. Donald Trump was (and to a MUCH lesser degree still is) a danger to our very way of life here in the US. The American people spoke clearly to the tune of more than 5 million votes against him.
Trumpers and Democrats are not even close to being the same.
You missed my point entirely. Divided =/= different, and I'm not saying you're exactly the same I'm saying you're not nearly as different as you think. Trump has empowered racists yes, but so do the democrats if you haven't noticed (unless of course by "racist" you mean white people discriminating minorities). There was a thread yesterday about how this election was just one big race war and I fully agree with it. Most white people voted trump and most non-white voted Biden. Do you really think thats because white and nonwhite people have such different opinions on policy, foreign affairs, economic growth, etc.. And do you really think they showed up in record numbers to vote out of pure passion for their (non-race related) political interests? No.
Fact is, white people don't like living with a government that is okay with them constantly being made out to be the enemy, and non-whites don't like having a government that enables white supremists and is led by a clearly racist individual. Both ideologys are completely respectable imo, and this is the danger in having two political parties that use race as a catalyst to support their endeavors eavors.

That know-nothing outrageously stupid dumba$$ called for that at the end of August, all based on stuff that is not in play anymore. He lost. He got it wrong.

I would like to know as well how Trollminator is taking full advantage of the market rally. If the market takes off like today unless you had trades pending, then that ship has already sailed.

The Dow was at 29,000 at end of August. I called it when Dow was at 18,500. Not spot on but close.

2 ways to go broke. 95% of day traders lose because of commissions. Short selling where you can have unlimited losses.

I was a spot FX and energy futures trader back in my day Sally, please don't try to lecture me in this arena. You don't want to know what my PA looks like. Oh yeah, as a reminder, YOU LOST. Go away
STILL shocking at what liars Trumpers are.
Liars. They are just liars. From start to end.

Yep, this is well known. Pfizer decided to spend it's own money on R&D (> $1B) and has zero ties with government on this initially. Credit goes to Pfizer.

Lying, ignorant, incompetent f*cks...all of them...the elected and appointed officials who back Trump, and his idiot window-licking supporters.

So you're buying short right now and betting the markets will drop?
Not saying that's wrong, just trying to determine that you think this rally is uncalled for and things will go down.
I think 50 Democrat senators would be cause to bet things will go up.
Otherwise, I'd bet McConnell could block all attempts to stimulate the economy, or help with strapped state budgets and the unemployed.
He will sabotage the American people just to make Biden look bad.

Good day to fade pharma (intraday short) and be long oil. Oil and energy stocks have good potential once we are really out of the COVID $hitter. I diversify a lot, about 2/3 of my pot is in long plays, quite a bit in Amazon and Google which I always add to when there is a pullback. I am very active in natural gas futures (both directions). I'm a little cautious about growth stocks but always optimistic about the Fed's manipulation as they will stop at nothing from continuing the asset bubble.
