Yeah, that's why I asked if they ran their a-team. They got beat pretty badly. Didn't hurt them in the national rankings...

HOW MUCH DO YOU ALL LOVE THIS COURSE? You get to reminisce about all the times you got high and saw concerts there this summer ... There is pie... Its Fast.
ITS JUST THE F***ING BEST RACE EVER.
GET AMPEDDDD
I just SPACked in my pants
Pie is f*cking boss. Always go for Pumpkin, it will never do you wrong and you can eat it without a fork.
Clearly a noob my friend... The carmel apple pie with nuts is heavenly. It is extremely rare and made only of the most elite and luxurious ingredients. I would Take Shit Out in this race so hard at the risk of dying just for a chance at that pie... and I have.
Its a panty dropper too if you know what I mean... natural all american "AFRO"disiac.
Good luck to all this weekend. Its going to be rowdy.
Of course, there's a third major meet this weekend, the UAAs. NYU men will go for their Xth win in a row (3rd? 4th? 5th?) against serious competition:
NYU ranked 7th in D3
Emory 12th
Carnegie 19th
Brandeis 23rd
as well as the UR men, ranked 6th in the AR.
I don't know whether NYU can repeat, but I'm picking CMU to beat Emory--based on nothing, actually, except that the conditions (course and weather) are likely to be "challenging," as they say, and Carnegie seems to do well in such meets. The real darkhorse pick is a resurgent Brandeis team, which has been solidly impressive this season.
Anyway, the women's meet is gonna be the real barnburner:
WashU ranked 7th nationally
CWRU 11th
Brandeis 26th
NYU 28th
Chicago 29th
Emory 32nd
URoch 8th in AR
The WashU women have had a bit of a slump, and Case will be at home; nevertheless, I'm picking WUStL for the win. The other places could be very, very close, with fourth and fifth runners incredibly important. Amazing to think that at least two nationally-ranked teams will finish in the bottom half of the field.
It's also amazing to remember that Johns Hopkins used to be a UAA school--imagine adding them to the mix!
Wow kibitzer you just NYgu'd in your pants.

Can't be sure what some teams are going to be running for there 5-7 guys plus whatever injuries there may be.
Keep in mind, this was pretty quick.
haha. as a member of one of the above teams i don't think that even the order you've predicted for my guys is going to come true. i'm guessing a lot of other teams are looking at this and thinking the same thing. there's no way to no until we get there but im skeptical at best and that's without breakouts and pussyouts, all of which make the races great. i do think that your cortland v geneseo is pretty good though. that at least leaves room for the inevitable upset. let's go SUNY G!
I didn't predict anything. I plugged seasonal performances into some baseline equations and got rough estimates for a uniform 8 kilometer course.
That's not how I myself would predict it myself, that's a general mathematical estimation. For example, it spat out Heymann edging out 2nd place by a hair, if it was simply me guessing I'd say Heymann in a 15 second runaway. Another thing that glares out at me is where it alternates cortland-geneseo for places 2-7. Teams tend to run in packs and I'd be incredibly shocked if it turned out to alternate like that.
Just something to look at and think about i guess. Somewhere to start. I'm just twiddling my thumbs til saturday...
What exactly did you use to create this steaming pile?

Aww is it a steaming pile because you or your team isn't where you'd like to see them? Did he hurt your feelings?
Relax, it's a lot better than some peoples' opinions on here and everybody knows they don't mean jack. Sack up, the race is in a couple days.
Results and math. Google Docs to keep it organized. Also, copy and paste to put it in letsrun.
Back to the important matter at hand. Pies.
My vote goes to Fruit of the Forest. Sounds like the gayest pie around, but don't knock it until you try it.
I would knock that baby around all day.
WILDDD CARD BABYY!!!!!! WHOOOOHOOOOO

my vote goes for the caramel apple, i just had a slice, it was bonkersss
I only agree with your top ten, but thats tough for any prediction made, mathematical or judgment

This should be an interesting one. I knew NYU had UAAs this weekend, but I didn't realize there were so many ranked teams in this conference. The women's race shoud be particularly interesting with some closely ranked teams racing each other. The NYU women are out to prove that they are a national caliber team this year, and with the free for all that is the 3-through-whatever spots in the region, they have the chance to make a statement against some good teams.
It will be very good to see the NYU men show all of their cards, and race (beat) some other ranked teams. Unfortunately I think Rochester is in over their heads at this meet, but maybe they can pull off a great race and show up some good teams.
