In the crazy 5-team race for 3 or 4 spots at NXN, it looked like Trabuco was going to stake their claim to the #2 spot behind Buchanan, but Trabuco's #4 runner Desormeau pulled out of Mt. Sac before Mile 2, clearly in pain. Hope she's ok. Transfer Guilfoille looked great while Bayles and Barker sat out, but they can't afford to lose anyone.
Santiago's 1 3 and 4 sat out and Braelyn Combe had another day in the sun with a solid performance. They are still looking for that 5th runner to step up. Ventura's freshman Nuckolls was extremely impressive at Mt. Sac and completes that scoring lineup very nicely. JSerra can't be slept on, obviously.
It's gonna be an amazing home stretch for the CALI girls as they all take caution to stay healthy and peak at the right time and take 2 at-large spots at NXN.

Why do they make lists and then leave a bunch of people off? This isn't hard. Maybe we should tell them about athletic.net?

I think the kids were left off if they didn't have both a 3 mile and 5k time this year.

I know this is a CIF thread but what course are they running on? Ogomo ran 13:59 at Woodbridge earlier this year, and ran 15:18 today.

Rankings solely based on times are meaningless. Some people run on harder courses than others

Either way they should still be able to add 5K time plus 3M time and include everyone that should be on the list.

Are you sure they have current 3 mile and 5k times for this year? I know someone who has a great 3 mile time but didn't run a 5k yet this year so they were not included. It seems like a pretty straight-forward data set. Who was left off?

ML King was moved up from not ranked to 13th in the nation in the milesplit rankings, with Mt Sac being listed as their most recent result. That makes zero sense. They took 8th there. I know they had 1 scorer missing, but still.

It's not my responsibly to get athletic.net to fix the team scores for their meet. I have no team that competed, and I myself never competed. I am just a fan. You have teams all across the nation spending money trying to place high at woodbridge, and you deny them their efforts. I wish rich gonzalez was the meet director.
