They will feel emboldened to commit any crime while in office if they believe they will have lifetime immunity after leading the office.

I suppose you are correct. But don't think I am 'playing nice' or that because he is popular I think it's okay.
He's not above the law but it will be a mess if he is prosecuted. Maybe it's worth it... maybe it's not... we'll see. As you and I both know not all criminals are prosecuted (especially white collar criminals).... and I am not referring to anyone specifically with that statement.

My guess on Nevada for the last couple of days since Biden reached 264 is that they don't want to be the ones to put him 'just on' 270 unless they have to. They may be waiting for PA until they release theirs.
If Biden got the 6 in NV, he goes 270, he makes announcement, Orange-utan cries and whips up a frenzy, auto recount there anyway.
Too much drama.
Let him get GA and PA, get to 300 (or 289 without AZ) then just maybe Orange-utan will slink off like his alter egos in the jungle.

With Biden at 289, Trump would need to strong-arm 21 electors to turn faithless. Undoable. With Biden at 270, Trump needs 2 to break their agreement.
Already there is a story of one vote counter, in Georgia, who had to go into hiding because he threw out a small piece of paper someone had inserted into their ballot envelope. Trumpers decided he threw a ballot with a vote for Trump. Then Trumper flocked to the internet and posted the person's name, his address, and his license plate number, and demanded mob justice.
The same mob justice will happen to electors if the gap is too small. Strongwomen-arming, and threatening electors, and surrounding their home, and trying to drive them off the road. Sounds ugly, but that is Trumpland as Trump built it. And the vote counter is just a start.
