Those super-blue mail-in votes in strongly Democratic Philadelphia put Biden into the lead in Pennsylvania. There were around 31,000 in the new tranche being reported, and of those, around 87 percent went for Biden.

When you have Democrats rioting, vandalizing, burning, stealing, assaulting.... no I can't say I care about Bannon's choice of words. Not one bit.
So do you call for additional violence like Bannon did? Is that what you want?
Many are totally supportive of violence, and much of the rest are happy to enable it.

Just a note that, if Biden's lead in GA holds up, much thanks should go to Jo Jorgensen. Most of the people who voted for her would--if a Libertarian candidate were not available--probably have voted Republican (or stayed home).
I was noticing/thinking the same thing.
The libertarian had an even bigger influence on the senate race. That's what kicked it into a runoff.

I am not the guy that you're arguing with, and I do not call for violence of any kind, but I think the horse left the barn a long time ago when people were being attacked in the streets for their political beliefs. You can't shake the Devil's hand and say you're only kidding. I am legitimately frightened for what is to come in our country. I think a lot of people on the Right have been methodically noting each violent action over the past year and making plans. I hope to God that I am wrong.

Biden leading by 6k votes in PA with 95% in... I'm thinking his lead will be in the range of 80-100k in the end. Game over
I think that's a good guess.
A hopped up Don Jr... lol yes please melt down the GOP for us

Just so I'm on the same page as you - you're asserting that Trump supporters, over the past 4 years, have been systematic targets of violence in the streets. Is that correct?
New votes just came in for Georgia!
Biden: 2
Trump: 1
Blue wave!

^dog whistler's best friend. Ok Sally, how about not drinking orange kool aid anymore and stop being terrified of some colored people you've never met before? That'll probably resolve your anxiety. Be happy your president will not be dividing people anymore. It's a good start.
I miss Rigged already. I guess he could come back. It's 5 pm in Moscow; he's probably just getting his daily soup ration from the homeless shelter.
No. Not in reality. I want to be clear. I am not arguing for violence. I am probably the closest thing to a pacifist as one can be. Violence makes me sick. I am saying that I am scared that when we - as a country - began committing violent actions in the streets, people began to think about how to fight back to protect themselves. I think the gun sales is one indicator. I also think that many Trump voters believed they were/are at risk of being targeted.
I listened to an NPR podcast on this recently - it may have been This American Life - where they dug into this issue. It was what got me very anxious. People on both sides are buying guns and getting ready for something... who knows what.
Does that make more sense? I feel like there was never really a serious reaction to any of the initial protests, and that is what scares me. It is like people have been holed up and waiting. Someone like Bannon could set them off and it scares the heck out of me.

You're probably right. I honestly hope you're right. I do have anxiety, so maybe I am just being stupid. Anxiety is real, though. I don't appreciate the Sally comment b/c I have dealt with anxiety for a long time and do not consider myself weak, it just comes. 10/4 on being less divisive. I am all for that right now.

Most of what you described has been going on since the 60s - large protests, civil unrest, general feelings of distrust and anger. I'm not saying it's good, but we are not in an Era of Good Feelings. That's just not the aesthetic right now, nor has it been for a while. Despite that, we've managed to do some pretty good things, so I wouldn't worry too much.

That was a failed attempt to walk back your reckless comment. NO LEVEL of vandalizing and looting is equivalent to BEHEADING two people and putting their heads on pikes as a warning to others to toe the line (this is what Bannon said). I mean, I can understand a Republican being upset at how this election is turning out, but Bannon's comment, and YOURS are beyond the pale. You need some self reflection of a serious level.

You are indicating that protesters started all this. Don't stop peeling the onion there, keep going and you're going to see orange man, FOX, QAnon, Alex Jones, Rush, police brutality, and structural racism. Does that make more sense? Don't try to give Bannon a pass. He knows exactly what his words and actions will trigger. It's intentional gas lighting much like the whole strategy of trump and the GOP since 2016 and you damn well know it. Look at trump Jo calling for war just because legal american votes are being counted. Not a single shred of evidence of fraud has been presented but there is a mountain of parroted fake allegations from the right. STFU, take your evidence to court and go through the process the law & order way. I've never seen such frantic desperation based on completely fake news. Actually I have but you get my point.

I am actually glad I posted because you and Trollminator have challenged my anxiety and I think I needed that. I am hoping we are on the path to something better. Thanks for being a sane voice.
