Yes but because of how this counting process worked, these states were given a heads up on Election Day of *exactly* how many of the fake pre-prepped mail in Biden votes they needed to have “appear” for counting

Republicans could have passed laws to allow early counting of the mail-in ballots. That would have prevented the scenario you describe.

The legislation was rejected in the states he's now trying to stop counting. He wanted to play the victim and sow the "stolen" narrative.

The states currently counting are amongst those that can only start counting on election day.

There are no nefarious reasons for the counting taking long

In swing states where the margins of victory are likely to be close, those rules may mean it takes hours or days after the polls close before a winner is declared.

I agree with you -- I'm saying there are states they get processed (and sometimes counted!) before election day. Really speeds up reporting to at least have the envelopes open. PA refused to do this and here we are.

You clearly misunderstood my retort and then said something factually inaccurate (that votes are NEVER counted before).

My point was that we are still counting because Republican legislation banning certain states from counting before Election Day. So they can’t then complain that it’s not finished. Thought that came through pretty clearly.

What do you do? You keep counting, you have shifts, you count the next day.

Swing states have laws that only allow counting to begin on day, same day as every other voter gets counted.

Just let the properly cast votes be counted as per the democratic process and law.

I get it, you hated him 4 years ago and you still hate him now. Hell I can’t even stand the guy. I've seen a lot of hate thrown his way, but this guy is a consistent winner and an overachiever. Call it jealously, call it envy, some people just can't handle how successful he is and how much money he has, could even be jealous that he's got a hot foreign model as his wife. That's what the people who support him love about him. Yes there have been some scandals, yes there have been some lies, and maybe a few times he's twisted the truth to make himself look better. He's out there everyday proving those haters wrong time after time. You may not have wanted him in this role, but he's there now and there is nothing you or I can do about it. I know its possibly going to get worse over the next several days, but like him or not, Tom Brady is turning things around in Tampa Bay.

The reason that PA couldn't process the mail in ballots until Election Day has to do with Republican politics on the state level. The Republicans quashed a bill to allow earlier processing of the ballots by adding on ridiculous things, so if you want to blame anyone for why we don't have an answer from PA yet, blame the Republicans.

It is not Republican v Democrat states, it is mainly the swing states.

It would not matter for example in California, or (pick a random clear GOP state)
