We can't get rid of the ED for a number of important reasons, not simply because of the Constitution. We don't want a popular vote for a million reasons, just look at history.

I get 63.4%. My back of the envelop calculation on limited data has him running around 66% on mail in ballots so this could be really, really close.

Except that's not really true - there aren't nearly enough people in rural locations to counter the cities (a quick Google search shows rural areas have about 15% of all Americans; Trump has almost 69 million votes). Even so, the skew is not nearly tilted enough in Republicans favor (45% voted Democrat in 2018).
It is far more a matter of urban (1/3 of Americans) vs suburban (half of Americans).

Gabriel Sterling, Georgia's voting system implementation manager, provided a breakdown of how many votes have yet to be counted by county:
Bryan County: 3,027
Burke County: 494
Chatham County: 17,157*
Clayton County: 7,408*
Cobb County: 700*
Floyd County: 682
Forsyth County: 4,713
Fulton County: 11,200*
Gwinnett County: 7,300*
Harris County: 3,641
Laurens County: 1,797
Putnam County: 1,552
Taylor County: 456
I put asterisks on the Biden counties. Trump will gain a couple thousand from Forsyth and Harris, but not much from the rest.
Some Biden counties like Clayton have gone 85% to 15%. So Biden gains around 6,000 from that county alone. If only Chatham was that strong. But it's about 58% to 41%.

The misprinted ballots were done by a firm called Midwest Direct, which also failed to send the ballots out on time as required under their contract. Midwest Direct is based on Ohio, and also screwed up ballot deliveries there. RIP Midwest Direct, no one will hire you again.
