That's true. There are a lot of crazy people out there.

Oh yeah, btw, markets have been rallying at the prospect of Biden willing.. his presidency will bring the much desired stability of the Obama years. Not more bs trade wars, no more market manipulation. He'll let the markets do their thing.
Since people like Sally, Rigged, Igy, and the other diehard Trumpers like Jamin and Hardloper all claimed that the markets were Trump's after election day in 2016, then it goes that the upturn in the markets since election day are due to Biden. Sucks to be a Trumper.

A guy on CNN this morning said that he was in PA recently and spoke with a woman who voted for Trump. She said that Trump had done a good job with the virus. The CNN guy produced the 4% of the world's population/20% of the world's deaths numbers for her. She said his numbers were wrong.
There's not much you can do with that. If people don't want to believe something, they won't believe it.
CNN reports that there are still 61,000+ votes to be counted in Georgia.
For four years, Trump has demonized cities and the people who live in them. They are lawless, anarchist, sanctuary cities and the people who live there are thugs.
Therefore, there is some justice in the fact that he may lose PA, and the election, due to the overwhelming number of votes from Philadelphia which are running so heavily in Biden's favor.
Maybe a better strategy would have been to try and make nice with places where so many Americans live.

My official prediction:
Trump pardons everyone mueller took a look at, including himself.
He fires off 50 executive orders to end immigration, asylum, and any enviro rules he can. Some of this will be hard to reverse.
then he walks out the door in December, goes to mar a crapo and tries to undermine the united states for the next 2 years until he declares his candidacy for the 2024 R nomination.
Junior will run for office in 2022.
Senior will not help with the transition after the EC meets, because he thinks that makes him look strong. But that ticks off a lot of Republicans, which will bite Trump in the tushie down the road.

I spoke to a work colleague who lives in PA and she explained how people don't like "trouble" in their towns... aka no angry black people protesting. Apparently Philly is considered a different planet than the rest of the state.
What trump did really well is to go right to the heart of people's bigotry to exploit it to his benefit. He promoted chaos all over and hyped up the fear of violent mobs and immigrants, knowing damn well there are a ton of racist or otherwise wholly ignorant and simple people who would certainly freak out. Now many of those people are on a serious mission to stop liberal agendas which must certainly be evil if trump said so. He's a repulsive person and has no leadership characteristics.

Funny you say that. I have had long conversations with friends here in Europe and it turns out I often come off like the Hispanics in FL that voted for Trump. Lots of Hispanics think their countries are so awful that they easily fall for the patriotic/nationalist con. I do not take well to any sort of nationalism, but sure enough I have many times commented how lucky some of them are with their governments. With respect to a few of these countries, the idea is that cynicism and constant demanding helps keep their politicians in check. In other words, being content with the system allows the politicians to take advantage of your gullibility. I don't disagree and I think it's important to not dumb down your expectations of a fair and accountable government. Someone fleeing Venezuela should be thankful they made it to the US but they sure as heck should demand a high standard from themselves and from whatever country they end up in. Immigrants in the US tend feel extra special and part of the club that give the GOP a pass and end up voting against their own interests.

The thing about executive orders is that they can be reversed with an executive order.
What really needs to happen is the legislative branch of our government needs to quit being an absolute blight. Way too much power has been distributed to the executive branch and the courts.
Laws are no longer written in Congress

Biden now within 124,874 in PA.

agreed, but I'm sure the WH will sign long term mining/oil contracts during the lame duck. which won't be reversible by congress or Biden. That kind of thing.

Disagree. The wheels of government do not move fast enough to instantly implement EOs. They can be over ridden as easily as they were written.

The question is how do you get them to change it?

Here is your Georgia update from the Fat hurts modeling center: . . .
Are you getting data off the maps that the various news outlets are showing (from Edison Research) or have you found the data in some other format?
I found county by county data at a Georgia Secretary of State link, but it doesn't show uncounted votes or percentages. I'm guessing these are projections by the news agency rather than the election board.
Anyway, thanks for providing these insights.
I'm using the abcnews web site, which tells me the vote count for each county and the percent reported. So I use that to extrapolate the future vote for each county I'm following. I can't really vouch for its accuracy beyond that.
And of course, my model is far from what it could be if I had time to work on it. It's just something I threw together on a spreadsheet.

Yep but as we saw with the buffoon trump total abuse of this ridiculous power can be quite damaging. Presidents should not have such vast powers.

In PA
Trump 3,224,000 voted for
Biden 3,089,000 voted for
Biden's Gap 135,000 votes
Trump, to get to 3,628,000 needs 404,000 votes (43% of the votes yet to count)
Biden, to get to 3,628,000 needs 539,000 votes (57% of the votes yet to count)
(Using data for PA voting districts, see link at the bottom)
In Philadelphia
797,000 / 80% already voted = 996,000 expected votes
199,000 votes to count
Trump 115,000 (20%)
Biden 476,000 (80%)
Assuming 199,000 votes left to count go 20/80%
Trump adds 40,000 votes
Biden adds 160,000 votes
And Biden gains 120,000 JUST in Philadelphia
There there are two other large counties still counting votes (under 95% counted)
Alleghany (Pittsburg) has 42,000 votes to go (94% counted) and is voting 59% Biden to 40% Trump -- Biden gains 9,000 on Trump here
Delware (next to Philadelphia) has 62,000 votes to go (82% counted) and is voting 61% Biden to 38% Trump -- Biden gains 14,000 on Trump here
Then there are other smaller counties still counting votes that voted heavily Trump but there are not very many voters in them. So, Trump gains a few thousand in those small districts. But, likely not enough to overcome the Philly region's already cast votes still being counted .
