Very close race Americans are having a really hard time picking the lesser of the two evils this year.

AZ - 84% in and Biden extended his lead to 79k - pure desperation thinking this one could go red. Tzees have shown up hoping to prevent the continued count of votes.

GA - 95% in and it's easily within Biden's striking distance, 23k gap.. literally nothing since FL and TX has been good news for trump

Re: AZ. Biden's lead was in the low 90Ks and Trump cut into it to get it to 79K. In a ballot dump overnight, he cut into Biden's lead again, it's now in the high 60Ks.

The people on TV keep telling us that the outstanding votes in AZ should favor Biden, or at least keep it close enough so that Trump won't catch up. But the last two ballot dumps have had Trump at around 55%-59%; if he keeps that up it will be very close.

The votes are mostly Maricopa County (PHX), but there will be some votes coming in from Pima County (Tucson), which evidently skews more Democratic, so that should help Biden.

In all the election hubbub, it was easy to lose track of the disease. Yesterday--November 4th, the day after Election Day--there were 108,000 new American cases and 1,200 deaths.

Twelve hundred Americans--almost half a 9/11--in one day.

betting odds are mostly unch on all the key states. A little lower in GA...that one's gonna be very close.

GA: 61% likely for Joe

AZ: 75% likely for Joe

PA: 83% likely for Joe

Electoral College: 86% for Joe

I'd guess networks call some states today.

Considering that Sen. Perdue intentionally butchered Kamala Harris' name, I wouldn't feel too bad for him if his name is misspelled on an internet messageboard.

Funny how the tzees outside in this case were chanting "count the votes"... but in MI it was "stop the count" - unreal

Biden will actually try to take responsibility and it will backfire big time. That's the game the GOP excels in, tear down the capable leaders who try to fix stuff. I suspect he will be able to reduce the spread a bit but the reality is the TDS infected GOP states won't budge. They will call Biden a tyrant and the whole freedumb movement will recommence. He'll probably end up wasting much of his political capital just trying to slow the deaths. FOX is going to keep up the senile attacks and try to portray him as lost and incapable. Right wing media is going to keep dumping gas on the fire and ride the trump momentum as much as possible.

Are you getting data off the maps that the various news outlets are showing (from Edison Research) or have you found the data in some other format?

I found county by county data at a Georgia Secretary of State link, but it doesn't show uncounted votes or percentages. I'm guessing these are projections by the news agency rather than the election board.

Anyway, thanks for providing these insights.

But I don't have the heart today.

I imagine the hate and fear and lies and resentment are flying.

Just going to savor the day.

Biden is within 142,470 in PA, and the percentage counted has reverted back to 87%.

Biden is within 135,704 now in PA.

COVID "disappeared" a couple months ago. No one has really cared for quite a while

Why the hangup in North Carolina and Alaska with regard to the vote totals?

COVID "disappeared" a couple months ago. No one has really cared for quite a while

Unfortunately for many Americans, that is true. I should walk them through my hospital and the morgue, and they would change their minds on that.
