Biden is now projected to win by 6,353 votes. As of now, 1% of the total would be 47,193. So we are easily in recount territory.
What's interesting is that when new returns come in from Trump counties, it makes the Biden projection get better. This makes sense if these votes are absentee ballots, which skew more toward Biden. Then having a stronger Biden percentage in the county causes the projection of outstanding votes to go down for Trump.
Who's projection is that? I'm not doubting it just curious as to the source.

It's not over yet of course, but the highlight for me so far has been trump losing AZ, mccain's turf.
Also just dipped into twitter and see all sorts of deranged Rs sharing fake content about fraud... posting faked results, screenshots of websites that are meaningless and copying each other's baseless complaints
Trumpism has undermined the process of democracy. That’s his legacy.
it's just about over.

To be fair, Rigged wasn't far off on some of this. But, alas, he screwed the pooch and is self-banned.
Rigged For Hillary:
The panic will occur on election evening. It will begin with agip going "oh carp, Rigged is going to be right again" then followed "but, but, but muh polls, how did they screw this up?" then going to mostly silence from the LR lib echo chamber as CNN & PMSNBC decision desks start calling states for Trump. I will not expect much enthusiasm after ET election night. The liberal tears & head explosions will follow. This is about the time (perhaps in 4-5 days) the media polls 538, RCP, NYTimes, etc start to show a "dramatic" tightening of the race. This is simply accomplished by turning off the ridiculous dem oversampling. Just wait until the Nate midgets (Silver & Cohn) fake credibility and proclaim "look, our last prediction was very close!" This is the same play, every single time

Most of the projections are following the same procedure: look at the current % advantage of in person or mail-in for that county, assume the same for the remaining, always in two groups mail-in or in person.
Better to wait a bit for the final numbers, the above works great when you are ahead already growing a lead but when catching up it's too coarse to trust it as a good estimate when it's so close.

This isn’t done but I wanted to share some thoughts.
It’s good news that trump will disappear for at least 4 years. Other than that this election has to be pretty disappointing.
Despite all the effort the past 4 years to expose Trump and the damage he’s done to our country, we are managing to squeeze out a Biden win. Think about what that says about the electorate. There was no sound rejection of trump and trumpism, given the results of the senate races. Someone like Susan Collins should have been demolished for her track record. Joni Ernst even wiped the floor with her opponent - just by supporting trump.
We are now back to gridlocking in government. Mitch will not allow anything to get done. The House majority might go red in 2 years. Biden will be 4 years older and no doubt without having been able to repair much of the damage.
Sem leadership should be having some serious discussions on everything, from political strategy to messaging, to their platform. They $hit the bed and if they couldn’t perform well against trump and this gop, then holy hell.
Our country will remain divided. Maybe that division won’t grow much wider but it won’t improve either.
It’s hard to feel too good, even knowing we will have a real president for 4 years.

Yep. As much as I despise trump I think I would take a strong senate majority over a slight Biden win. The senate is going to torment any attempt by Dems to do anything. It’s brutal with Mitch and the other trump a$$ sniffers around.

Killing a small feel good moment I see. It’s not a bad turnout all around for a re election.

Exactly. COVID relief? Not a chance.
a) That would make DEMS look good--and party over country, after all.
b) By prolonging the economic suffering, GOPers would improve their chances of retaking the House in 2022. See: 2010.

Apparently there are like a hundred poll watchers from each party already inside the hall, keeping an eye on things.
It's basically just a childish mob; hopefully, no one gets hurt.
