and wasn't trump going to end two wars on day one? Wasn't that a thing you all punched the air about? Remember that? Do you now realize you are idiots to believe Spanky?
Also, he chose not to sign the deal on friday soo.... don't think he agreed to it then.
Z has long agreed to sign an economic cooperation treaty with the USA.
For months and months.
It took Trump's terrible negotiating skills to kill it.
Latest poll is good news for Trump and awful for Democrats. The president has a 52% job rating. His plans to end government waste and deport criminal illegal aliens are both popular.
breaking: Americans will have to pay $12,000 more per car because of tariffs. Enjoy, poor red staters! You voted for this - he told you it was coming and you voted for this anyway.
"Trump is popular"? Well, not according to the 538 poll-of-polls: still underwater, 48.3% to 46.5%. But I have no doubt that someone can find (or generate) an individual poll that puts President Trump over 50%.
In any case, President Trump is still doing (considerably) better now than at the same point in his first term.
Is it ever acceptable for a Republican to disagree with Trump about something?
It is not necessary for them to ever disagree with dear leader. Trumps lie becomes reality. Not outside the US. Just in the dictatorial country. This is how it works. Get used to it.
Great take here:
“Don’t underestimate the ability of the partisan bubble to tear down Zelensky. It successfully rehabilitated the January 6 rioters including those who attacked police. It can do the same for a president defending his country from an ongoing Russian invasion. There is already a common message from WH, Hill and platforms like X: Zelensky is the obstacle, Zelensky is focused on his own interests, etc. In that sense, the Oval Office confrontation becomes the message, not a misstep. No mention or criticism of Putin of course, even as the air campaign on civilian targets continues unabated. And now the Kremlin is repeating the same talking points: "The Kyiv regime and Zelensky do not want peace. They want the war to continue," Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov said. *NB: he is saying this as Russia steps up the air campaign on Ukraine including civilian targets.”

Although it could depend on the nature of the "disagreement," including how it is spoken and publicized, the short answer is "no."
I am a Republican and I disagree with him on a number of things. Especially some of his cabinet picks. He needs to be more measured. Needs to be more of a diplomat. He should not attack everyone who disagrees with him.
Or because giving security guarantees would effectively draw the US directly into the war, which is not something Trump was willing to do. But yeah, keep jerking off to Trump-Putin conspiracy theories.
yeah it's probably nothing
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered U.S. Cyber Command to halt offensive operations against Russia, according to a current official and two former officials briefed on the secret instructions.
No, no, no, it's just master negotiating. Kiss the aggressor's a** to conspiracy (or not) theory-generating levels, and set a WR for publicly insulting your supposed ally. Crazy like a comatose fox.
More seriously, Mr. Negotiator couldn't get a deal signed with an ALLY who entered the building ready to give away something for nothing. So, when you can't successfully negotiate with a desperate ally, are you worth a sh**? Of course not. And how might you manage with Putin and Li?
Trump is SO MANY bad things. But simple "joke" is RIGHT UP THERE on the list.

It's funny, because none of us remember the caveat from Trump. "I'll end the war in Ukraine with a single phone call within 24 hours of becoming president.......UNLESS ZELENSKY ISN'T 'COOPERATIVE'".

So? I'm almost certainly going to be buying a Tesla as my next car. Made in the US so it'll be exempt from tariffs. Some of the materials are from other countries which will have tariffs but the vast majority won't.

Again. If Zelensky would surrender and cease all fighting, there would be immediate peace.
