2) Independents ballots are counted 50.41% D / 49.59% R. The Monmouth poll says independents are going 51% Biden / 37% Trump / 4% Jorgensen / 7% other/undecided suggesting about +320k votes for Biden thus far.
Of course the Monmouth poll isn't going to be perfect, but the methodology behind this graph is questionable at best.
