Fun fact. If things go according to 538 then South Carolina will be the only red state that borders the ocean.

Anything more specific to offer?
Duly noted that not a single person on here has anything to say about how Bubba does not get screwed (and no, "progressive policies" is not saying anything).
Difficult to envision a better, less divided future for this country when the only people who have anything to offer Bubba are the Trump knuckleheads (recognizing that what they are offering is simply hatred, victim-hood and resentment).

You asked an open-ended question. I gave you an open-ended answer.
I don't have time to rehash the last 40 years of Democratic policy to suggest how we could have kept Bubba as a Democrat. But Democrats did let Bubba down. We didn't prioritize the progressive policies that attracted Bubba to us in the first place.
That's all I'm going to say about it today. Maybe after the election we will have the opportunity to discuss policy again.

I don't particularly care about you, or what you did say or didn't say. You are not that important.
And the point stands. Not a single person on here has anything to say about how Bubba does not get screwed.
And it remains difficult to envision a better, less divided future for this country when the only people who have anything to offer Bubba are the Trump knuckleheads.
Wtf are you going on about. How about:
1) Cheap or free healthcare
2) More funding for early childhood and public education
3) Infrastructure investment and job retraining to reflect a modernizing economy
4) Re-orientation to a more progressive tax code
All of these things positively influence people in lower income brackets. There are many others behind it. You can debate whether democrats have been effective in implementing a platform of this sort but not the platform itself.

We know this because of the gender gap. It's absurd - like 65-35 and then flip it around 35/65.
The women know it's not about economics. It's about culture and a definition of masculinity that is close to fascism.
No idea how we judge this. I might just invent some criteria and judge a winner based on the quality and quantity of correct predictions.
It's gonna take a month though, with the EC count having the most weight.

What would you say the "Trump knuckleheads" have offered Bubba?
Also feel free to offer up you thoughts on ought to be done for Bubba.

Once again, Trump's path to 270 is simple. He takes FL, NC & AZ (to lock down the firewall) and then take just ONE rust belt state (either MN, WI, MI or PA). As soon as this is achieved, the race is OVER. However, Trump will win more than just one rust belt state.
There will be plenty of shock & horror on CNN & PMSNBC tomorrow night.
Cant wait to see your posts on how the mail-in votes should not be counted. Nothing about tomorrow will be simple for Trump. And as much as you like to post about this stuff, you really aren't informed. You gotta stop listening to Hannity.

Crickets since. The all-talk-confident-keyboard-warrior list is running out of room.
I placed 3 prop bets on Bovada:
1. Trump wins NH
2. Trump wins MI
3. Trump wins WI
KAG2020
the anti-democratic forces of voter suppression lose again.
what is it about Republicans that makes them hate voting?

I don't listen to Hannity or El Rushbo. I follow Peoples Pundit, Barnes Law & Trafalgar- the folks who beat 538 consistently.
It's going to fun seeing the entire LR lib echo chamber meltdown tomorrow night.

But if you want to look at why Bubba abandoned the Democratic party, Molly Ivins got it right long ago.
She is a tyrant and this is what happens when you vote democrat- you get liberal sh!tholes.

...but men *don't* have reasons to love trump for other reasons not related to economics?
Are you sure? I think it's pretty clear that men love trump for reasons other than economics.
We've all seen those car and boat rallies with $50,000 cars and $100,000 boats. We know the Republicans are just as well off as Democrats. (although that's complicated by race).
It's a lot more complicated than 'bubba got screwed' and it has a lot to do with why Nazis had cool uniforms designed by Hugo Boss. Men see a glamorized view of themselves in Trump.
