Well, Trump is keeping one campaign promise. He is uniting the Country - against himself and the alt-right.

Extremist, both the left and the right are bad. However, I'm calling bull on this. Vox is not a reputable source. The chart is misleading. It talks about incidents because it looks worse for the right wing, which is the point they want to make.1) One incident in 2016, by a radical Muslim, killed 49 innocent people in Pulse nightclub. That was like 71% of all deaths caused by extremists.2) We are spending a fortune fighting terrorists in the middle east and around the world. That sum of money should tell you the severity of the issue.

It actually IS good news for Trump, albeit for entirely different reasons.

This bill has zero chance of going anywhere. So Trump has nothing to worry about. Further, it simply supports the notion that the left is unhinged and is out to get Trump.

How's that "war on drugs" going? How about all the money spent on imprisoning people in the U.S.? Money spent is not an indicator of anything.

"Fighting terrorism" is the new "Fighting communism." It's not that neither existed. It's that lots of pet projects are recast to fit the message of the day.
