Can someone keep an eye on this guy (run across America)

It's clear this whole journey is to raise awareness of Darren first and foremost. His videos have nothing to do with health, they're only Darren talking about Darren. His website is mostly self promotion for his keynote speeches. I'm surprised he has the time since he has such a successful law practice and a gig as a tv star. I wonder how much he charges for a speech and if I could get him for one of my kids' birthday parties.

Trying to understand what you are proposing here. The cost of this must be high.

Consider the RV rental, hotel rooms, petrol, clothing, food and incidentals.

So now you claim he is taking goods in kind. Why would he, he has built a strong business and career? He does not need to do this. He is not a runner or rider. He does not make a living from athletics far from it.

He is a lawyer who has a back story that he shares openly of addiction and other failings, turns his life around and you want to tear him down!! I have become a defender after investigating his life, what he stands for, the nod to Bonnie Tiegal who died of cancer recently and his dedication to her memory is enough for me.

I can see where others might have been involved in a scam, I can see where he made claims prior to hitting unexpected problems that he has not been able to meet.

Can any of us claim that everything we do goes without a hitch? I cant can you?

It's easy to see why celebrities like Garth Brooks and Terry Bradshaw have flocked to the cause. Most of the haters on here probably can't run 10 miles let alone 3,000! Go Darren you inspire us all by showing what's possible!

Nice but he is not running 3000 miles. He is riding not running, from what he has disclosed after the injury. No expose' here he openly let everyone know what happened and the choice he made. So no three thousand mile run, no claims he is an athlete breaking records, no effort to bike and break records. This forum has focused on him but he is not alone but accompanied by Kyle who is seen and heard from little. Then there are two others who are giving up time and effort to support this. You see a great deal of crude insulting posts that lower the level of discourse which only reflects on the writers and many accusations that have no back up.

And yet, he's working very hard to make sure no one can join up with him and his crew to make sure he really is at least "self propelling himself". Would you agree with this and if not, why?

He's been anything but transparent in his scheduling and also the use of the tracker.

Yeah. That 24 hour tracker that shows his exact position every second sure is keeping people from knowing exactly where he is.

I do not understand this accusation at all. We see posts showing what hotel they are staying in. We see the tracker, we know exactly where they are which right now is Tupelow. So no do not agree. I agree with the prior post it is not hard to figure out where he is and maybe soon someone will do so and meet up with them. Its not as though they are wearing odd camouflage colours in an attempt to hide!!!

It takes planning to meet up with him. If he says he will be in City X and City Y and City Z, on certain days, people could plan, meet up with him and self propel themselves with him.

Instead he says he'll be in certain places but then in the end, he doesn't go to those places.

Is this not true?

How about publishing a schedule over the next two weeks saying this is the path he's going to take, this is the route he's running and this is when he's going to be on these routes and then STICK TO IT. Pretty simple don't you think. Yet...I guess it's not.
