Wilson stunned many supporters this season by leading Pittsburgh to a 6-1 record over his first seven games as the team secured a Wild Card berth after missing the playoffs in 2023.
Wilson looks like he has put on a few pounds. hmmm?
Thinking he played good enough tonight to keep his job, Would have had over 300 yards if Pickett doesn't push off. 300 yards and two TD's is a good night, not his fault that D can't stop the run. Not sure what his comp % was but don't recall many bad throws.
BUT, he is like everybody else age is undefeated.
Do think Tomlin is way more concerned with his D than his QB . Do doubt Wison gets the big $$ at this stage of the career, he is no longer among the elite.
Wilson is in that spot where he's still okay. He can play on a playoff team. He can't take a team on his back. He can't will a team to a TD drive when little is there. He's often not even willing to take throws that are there. And he lost just enough speed that he can't get around the end anymore.
He's Tyrod Taylor. But he's probably not willing to be a backup. Steelers won't keep him unless they're absolutely desperate. I think most of Steeler's nation would rather take a shot with Fields. Not that that's likely to turn out well.

Steelers were 10-3 and lost 5 in a row and most of Wilsons solid enough stats yesterday were empty numbers from down 21-0 , when it really mattered. I just read an article, then deleted it, that like Deno had been harping, Wilson was looking at another deal for multiples at $30M, the article says that is surely gone.
How badly did the Steelers botch their QB situation? Going with a combination of a) washed-up Russell Wilson, and b) a guy the Bears (the freakin' Bears!) gave up on, just wasn't going to turn out well. Tomlin is a genius for achieving 10 wins with that roster.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are taking all options under consideration at QB after Russell Wilson's brutal finish to the season. Is Justin Fields in the mix?
That gives the great Russell Wilson 10 pro bowls in his 13 year career.
Hell his last Seahawk season he was a pro bowler.
In 2020 he was voted number 2 by the players as the best players in the NFL.
His stats for his first 13 years on par with anyones at 13 years of the career.
Number 12 all time TD passes, only over 5000 ruster over 45000 passing yards in NFL history. Top 4 in TD/INT ratio, top 4 passer rating., top 4 QB rushing,
When Drake Maye and Russell Wilson were added to the AFC's Pro Bowl roster on Tuesday as replacements, Denver Broncos fans quickly wondered why quarterback Bo Nix didn't get in above them. It turns out Nix was invited to the...
Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert and C.J. Stroud were all unavailable or opted out of the Pro Bowl, so Nix was next in line. After Nix opted out, Joe Burrow is now the AFC's top QB left with Wilson and Maye added to the squad behind him.

I'm glad you finally figured out that he's in his 13th season, not 14th, and that Fran Tarkenton's name isn't Frank for that matter, but Russell Wilson is not in the top 4 for passer rating, nor is it over 100 any longer.

Wake up rookie.
Dude, do you really think a guy who saw Tarkenton play his entire career thinks his name is Frank, hahahaha! Hell rookie I have his football cards.
When it comes to QB;s with over a decade of NFL experience Wilson is number two, just behind Rodgers in passer rating.
Now add....only QB with over 5000 rushing, 45000 passing yards.in NFL history.
What QB in history has more 4000 passing yards, 30 or more TD's, 100 or more passer rating, over 400 rushing yards......seasons in their first 13 seasons and more pro bowls. Well?
Compare Tom Brady's first 13 seasons to Wilsons.

Why do you not get that Wilson is the only QB in the top 13 in td passes, top 5 in passer rating, top 5 in TD/INT ratio, top five in QB rushing, top 5 in pro bowls vs years in.
A SB winner and has been ranked as high ashigh as number two as the best player in the NFL

Come on rookie.
You can't even figure out that his passer rating is below 100. Once you figure that out then you can move on to other subjects.
The rookie is so asleep that he's celebrating Russell Wilson being the 8th or 9th best QB in the AFC. If it wasn't for Bo Nix having surgery, not to mention all the other QB's that opted out, Russell wouldn't have made it.
Do this compare Wilson to other QB's with over a decade of experience. Do it right rooke.
Here ya go rook.
Tom Brady 64.3 comp%, 97.2 passer rating, Russell Wilson 64.7/99.8 no need to talk rushing,
Wilson is right there with the greats the legends, yep, he is one of them.
Rookies sheesh~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are currently talking about your excitement about Wilson making the Pro Bowl even though he was the 8th or 9th selection in the AFC.
We are also talking about your inability to read a list and your false claims about Wilson having a passer rating over 100.
Wake up rookie.
Wilson is the only QB in the NFL who has been in 10 pro bowls, rushed for over 5000 yards, won a SB, has over 46000 passing yards, has over 340 TD's,
Look at all his seasons with 4000 passing yards, over 100 passer rating, over 400 rushing yards, 30 or more TD;s, another pro bowl. nobody compares rookie,
Give it up slick, if this were a fight they'd stop it on cuts.

If this were a fight you wouldn't make it in the ring because you'd be ineligible with your obvious brain injury.
Russell Wilson doesn't have a passer rating over 100 regardless of what your faulty brain believes.
Ge wouldn't gave made tbe Pro Bowl if Bo Nix hadn't dropped out. Bo Nix! LOL
