Which results? If a state is 60% for Biden on every one of the last 30 polls, how you are registered is irrelevant to what the final results will be. Clearly a lot of registered republicans are voting for Biden.

I suspect trump’s inevitable meddling via state minions will throw a huge wrench into all of these predictions. Say Biden wins PA by 150,000 votes but Trump cries foul and it gets kicked to the state election board to resolve it and some trumpers decide the EC votes should go to trump, just because... then Trafalgar will claim it was correct and 538 was wrong. I’m not familiar with the PA rules but just using that as a hypothetical.

After the election, the weather gets colder and people are indoors more where the circulation is said to easier spread the disease.

The whole world is dealing with this so the US election isn't everything to them.

The death rate being lower is good but the case increases keeps the death totals and hospitalizations going at high levels.

We're still going to talk about when schools may open back up and how to approach Christmas.

And the travel and entertainment industry being devastated is going to continue to be a drag on the economy.

Your opinion is that without the election it will be talked about less.

My opinion is it will be talked about more because the election itself sucks up so many headlines.
