I was saying if you feel it necessary to tell people are aren't racist, and in fact you are the least racist, then you are probably very racist.

If you feel it necessary to show people that you are smart, and in fact so smart you can use words not typically found anywhere in an issue of sports illustrated, then you probably aren't as smart as you think you are.

You missed the point in trying too strenuous. If you felt it necessary to raise racialism, doesn't that make YOU the one who is probably very racial, by your own logical terms? Again, you've backed yourself into your own pigeonhole using your own words that also don't get used in sports.

I think it is a likely scenario. He has already said he might have to leave the country if he loses. Trump Towers Istanbul is a logical place to go.

Remember, an authoritarian leaves office one of four ways*:

1. Dies in office

2. Thrown in prison

3. Flees to exile

4. Taken out back and shot

* Just to clarify, this doesn't mean that one of the four will necessarily happen before January 20th. Trump will always say that he is still president, so to him, he doesn't really "leave" office. If he loses, one of the four will happen by the end of next year.

Now, typically I frown on people who use spelling mistakes and punctuation errors as a talking point in an argument/discussion, but it seems relevant now. Strenuous, at least what my brief search on the internet tells me, is an adjective. Shouldn't it have been "strenuously?"

I could have used several others analogies. The "I'm the least racist" analogy came ot mind first because it's something that was being discussed on a podcast I was listening to. Trump gives you so much to use (like when he says things like "it was perfect" or "the likes you have never seen before").

For what it's worth, the U.S. has an extradition treaty with Turkey. Not sure how that would work on state rather than federal charges.

Unless Erdogan wishes to self destruct he isn’t giving trump refuge. He has nothing to gain from that. Turkey already has a shaky enough relationship with the US and cannot afford to become our enemy, especially when we have a real president. The best place for trump to go is Russia. He wouldn’t have to worry about a thing and Putin would go down as GOAT dictator for taking a POTUS scalp.
