Some kids drug issues and untimely death have no impact or effect on the New Gen Camp situation that still remains ongoing until New Gen takes accountability ……

Seriously. This is disgusting. The poster is implying this poor kid died of a fentanyl overdose because he supposedly 'hated on' NewGen. It's so disgusting and inappropriate and stupid that I suspect only someone from NewGen could have posted it.

I think it's also important to remember that people change. The fact that someone was angry or aggressive in the past doesn't mean that they will stay that way. People can learn and grow.
I posted about this on another earlier thread about New Gen, but I was at NXN the year of the after party in question as my younger brother was competing with his team. I happened to be at the hotel the afternoon after the race and saw Ben Crawford & Co. bringing alcohol into the hotel. I knew one of the guys who was with him from racing against him and he said basically since they were hanging out with the HS kids the whole week and they were getting so many requests from the kids to get them alcohol for the party that they just caved and bought a bunch with the message basically being if you wanted it to come to their room and if you didn't you can enjoy the party. It didn't sound so much like they were trying to coerce anyone necessarily and like others on here have said, baseless "groomer" accusations don't do any good. But I do know something went down that night that Nike tried to sweep under the rug pretty quickly which is why New Gen has been kept at arms length since then. Regardless of what happened I always thought it was a dumb choice by a group of guys who were in the early 20s to buy alcohol for high schoolers and then try to play the ignorance card as if they didn't think it would get out of hand.
