Which is a fine way to make a living with his skill set.
He doesn't have to stand out in the cold, wind, rain, snow holding a stopwatch, he doesn't have to talk to a classroom of adolescents daily and deal with discipline issues, he doesn't have to deal with parents unless he really wants to.
His athletes come to him with good levels of motivation already, he doesn't have to pep talk or deal with grumpy attitudes or excuses much at all.
He sets his own hours and doesn't have to commute anywhere. He still has a great reputation and people will pay him to travel to present at coaching clinics.
He wanted to coach Drew Hunter, I'm not so sure he was really wanting to coach TME except he had to in order to keep coaching Drew. Looks like nobody else did, either, since they wound up with Drew's mom as coach. Coaching a pro group isn't that appealing, certainly not one that lacks a major sponsor that pays salaries.
