I really believe there isn't much Biden or any other candidate could have done going into this election that would make much more of a difference. Trump has demolished his own chances so aggressively and openly that it seemed impossible for any challenger to match that. It's almost as if trump was throwing the fight by punching himself in the face repeatedly, hanging on the ropes, but still complaining that the other guy sucker punched him. You can't make it up. My guess is he couldn't help his desperation for controlling the news cycle and generating attention.

Based on the research by Barnes Law, Peoples Pundit, Trafalgar, Real Election Analysis and looking at some early voting returns in the battlegrounds, I see Trump is going to outperform his 2016 results.
Dementia Joe's ground game is nowhere near as robust or as established as Trump's. I don't see the debates as a major metric to forecast an election outcome and historically it has never been. Trump's base is as strong as ever, his rallies have brought in and they are motivated to reelect him.
Your candidate cannot afford to lose any rust belt states: PA, WI, MN or MI. I am not including OH since this is safe for Trump. I have Trump taking these core states: FL, NC & AZ- these are the states I will be focusing on election night.
In my WORST case scenario, Trump's victory comes down to one single state: NH. NH will flip and he will take either WI or MN. Overall, he does not need MI, NV, PA or ME.
The TDS is too overwhelming here, nobody else will predict a Trump victory.

If trump gets destroyed and challenges the results, are you going to believe it's rigged? You mentioned you'd accept a loss, but you have not clarified... in his mind, trump isn't going to lose. That is a high profile but dangerous position. He will be exposed and forced to defend positions he may completely disagree with, some which may hurt his election chances later. I think he would do well but why take the risk if he can serve as an advisor and shield himself a bit? Susan Rice didn't get too lucky.

Trump's a salesman from his toes to his...his....whatever that is on top of his head.
He has an old fashioned view of sales - that you are really selling yourself, and the product is secondary.
He knows the mag@s don't want to hear a laundry list of policy...so he just says 'you get me and all my magnificent experience and the best words.'
And he's right - that's what the m@gas want. They aren't real policy wonks.

This is probably an unpopular view around here, but I have always felt sorry for Trump and the whole Trump family. They are so deeply, tragically flawed. And I suspect that it originates in never having been loved and being quite simply incapable of imagining what the concept of love even means.
