The accent may be a bit posh, but the range of words he uses, and some of his grammar do suggest a lack of education. His book says he moved between care homes until he was 12, when he was fostered by 'Peter'. Other articles identified this as 'Peter Wells' who was a Senior Master at Kebel Prep School - sounds like a prep school accent to me.

That's what I saw yesterday, but it's changed to a different picture of a different runner for me today.

He is claiming to have run 401 marathons in 401 days, an extraordinary accomplishment, so he should provide GPS evidence.

Nobody ever found Rob not running during his 370 marathons in 365 days, so that isn't very relevant.

I don't care about you, but he is a celebrity, even featured on the BBC.

Seems like there is no GPS data for about 2 months.

I can't access his other data, because he refuses to accept my request.

A private profile for a very public person just seems weird.

Why dont you ask Ben yourself? He can be contacted on his website and facebook page for the 401 challenge.

All i know is that his runs were totally public and he never went alone.

Every day a large group of runners would turn out and run with him and loads of photos were posted. The route was published in advance.

Apart from 10 days when he got injured. He then made the miles up.

Well done to the person/people who emailed the event organiser about this and got the photo removed.

It was a great party but it's over.

All of the guests have left and gone home to enjoy the rest of their lives. Sadly a few drunk stragglers are hanging around making a nuisance of themselves hoping the DJ will come back and they might find a half full can of beer behind the couch.

There will be another party, move on it's getting sad.

Absolute fantasist. - very very odd guy, up to eyes in debt and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the charity money didn't reach the charity. He definitely has issues, and I suspect the main one is being unable to tell the truth. Owes money left right and centre and sponges off people. Seems to have complete disregard for putting a roof over his family's head. He told one of my friends he used to be in MI5.... course you did Rob!?!?

I will occasionally drop in on his website to see if there is any sign of him actually doing anything, or trying to fundraise his living expenses through a Crowdfunder or something.
