The ad is completely honest about Trump's treatment of women journalists. He was taken back last night when Guthrie pressed his dishonesty !

He has been as stupid in office as he made himself out to be for decades.
Jeff, I, like many people, didn't really fully know Donald Trump until he became President. I knew he was not a smart person before the 2016 election, but it's the depth of his stupidity that I had no idea existed.
Some examples of things he has said/done since becoming President that are just SOOOOO dumb I could not have imagined before the 2016 election:
1) When he said that the stock market rise was erasing the national debt.
2) When he asked if a "solid flu vaccine" would have any positive effect against COVID.
3) When he suggested we inject disinfectants to treat the coronavirus.
4) When he didn't know Israel was in the Middle East.
5) "Many people don't realize Lincoln was a Republican."
6) Windmills cause cancer.
7) People have to flush 10, 15 times.
8) Revolutionary Army took over the airports.
9) His long, rambling, often extremely incoherent speeches.
I could go on and on...can't say "Yosemite". Constantly gets people's names wrong or places wrong (Tallahassee Trail anyone?) None of the above was known to me or the world before he became President. I mean, there is stupid, and then there is Donald J. Trump stupid, and we didn't know how dumb he was until after he was in office.
Have you ever been screened for autism? It would honestly explain a lot.

Do they still take it down if its OBVIOUSLY manipulated media?
It's not like they were trying to fool anyone.

Nope. No need. I have no traits of people on the spectrum whatsoever.

Right, satire =\= manipulated media meant to mislead.

Yeah, this is clearly satire. They went out of their way to make it clear Trump Jr. wasn't actually saying those things about his father.

Dude, we know that you can't stand Flagpole. But let it go. You're a bright fellow. Contribute something. Or stay silent.
But, "are you autistic?" isn't worth the electrons required to transmit it.
538 now gives Biden an 87% chance of winning.

If the video was produced by the Onion, it would be let go as satire.
I think the fact that the Lincoln Project has been doing serious political ads makes it a different situation.
Maybe

Actually surprised. I flipped back and forth but I anctipated more people tuning into Trump to see the potential train wreck. It's slight, but it's still a win for Biden's ratings. Wonder if Trump will use "he had 90 minutes and I had 1 hour" as the reason he lost

Perhaps people are getting more interested in seeing what their new President is all about.

Explanation no longer needed as to why you are attracted to Trump. So much class one in sentence.
Daily check of The Gap: currently at 11.2 percentage points. DJT's "approval" rating is taking a little hit recently, but still well above 40%--hasn't dropped below that for nearly two years.

Gina, you seem like a relatively recent poster? Anyway, I enjoy your work. Thanks for the contribution.

I am surprised as well. My wife (The Lovely Mrs. Flagpole) refuses to hear Trump speak anymore, so I had to record Trump's townhall and watch it later when she was making me a sandwich (ah, just a joke there). Maybe there are more people out there who just will not stand to listen to him anymore.

Man...that's two of you who have quickly slapped Racket down for that. Not needed, but I do appreciate it.
I actually think Racket is a good guy and mostly thoughtful and fair. He's not right about everything, but that's hardly unique.

Biggest takeaway from last night for me was this: Trump is an A-hole, Biden is a decent man, They carry themselves vastly differently.
I'm still not liking him dodging the "court-packing" question. I wish he would just say "republican's broke their promises, and are all acting on bad faith, They say it's within their constitutional rights to rush this nomination through now. Packing the courts would be within my constitutional right to pursue." And Biden does stumble over his words while he talks, so I am concerned that he may be a bit past his political prime.
But there was substance to Biden's responses. He actually had details. Trump was the same old trump. Every response filled with lies and exaggerations. And ZERO substance. I susppose we hear what we want, but it puzzles me that REAL republicans haven't looked at this man with disgust for what he has done the to reputation of their party.
This is a fair critique of Biden.
Biden is past his political prime -- for sure. He's in his late 70s. He is past his everything prime. HOWEVER, he has always stumbled when he talks. Nothing new to see here really.
He will "go back to being a professor" at the University of Pennsylvania when he loses and be "back teaching." Dementia Joe never taught a single class at UPenn.
