Apparently our president has tweeted close to 100 times today, between tweets and retweets, etc.
At least he's not trying to run the government.
Okay, I LOLed.
Here's the crowd for Trump's FL rally and it doesn't start until 7 PM ET.

I think a lot of the urge to vote early is so you can psychically move on a little bit. After you vote, you can relax and maybe not freak out as much day to day. You did your part, you voted, now it's out of your hands. People want that feeling of being able to stop thinking so much about this election.
Well, I voted already and it didn't help.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, you’re comparing covidiots with smart people. If Joe goes out there like this orange faced buffoon, we would all be questioning his intellect and values, and no, we wouldn’t be out there cheering for him. That is white trash behavior and not to mention fkn irresponsible as hell. Please don’t compare your orange trash to Biden. Stick to your orange trash please.

Ha, yep. Btw, my sister made up her mind and decided to vote for Biden in FL. She said his behavior after getting COVID did it. I left it at that and congratulated her.

These are evil people who don't care about others. It's no wonder they follow an antichrist.
Biff, you were saying about enthusiasm...

Btw unsurprisingly I had a feeling Rs would do this - break the law to try to illustrate that mail in voting is fraudulent. Fkn despicable
Regarding this article (interesting, and short): I'm not yet convinced that either side is making a wrong move here, though I'm at least a little doubtful about Biden's commitment to TV.
People who are more likely to vote for Biden are probably less likely to welcome visitors on their doorsteps. People who are more likely to vote for Trump are less likely to worry about such door-knockers--whether they be masked or not.
There *are* ways (besides the airwaves) to get your people motivated to go to the polls. Social media (especially) and the "ground game" worked for Trump in 2016, and I don't necessarily see it as a sign of weakness that his campaign is funneling resources into those modalities.

Huh. Seems like a waste to get there so early when you could be back in your hotel room or RV spending "quality time" with your family (cousins?), right up until the start of the rally.

No, you are an idiot. Loser.
Is that all you have to come on here and call people you have never met a "loser?" Pathetic. You are really the most pathetic poster here along with Flagpole and Troll. Just pathetic.
By the way, does Meadow still do morning showers with Gym Jordan, Gaetz and Nunes ?!?
Trollminator - quit posting so much crap. I hate sifting through all of it. You are supposedly a grad student but are here all day long. Either admit you are a fake grad student and keep posting your garbage or really act like a grad student and go to class and study. You can't be both. Either a loser here all the time or a real grad student who goes to class and studies when at home. You can't be both.

Unfortunately for Trump, the people who are impressed by this rally are likely already voting for him, and there aren't enough of them for him to win. He needs to persuade people in the middle, and a lot of those people look at this scene and just shake their heads at the stupidity of it. Instead of winning over people who may still be on the fence, these rallies are driving votes away from him and toward Biden.
Trump just can't come to grips with the reality that a lot of Americans are worried about the virus and take it very seriously, and sincerely want to avoid getting it or passing it on to others. A lot of Americans don't have any problem with wearing a mask and wish more people wore masks. The fact that seniors are fleeing Trump and moving to Biden, and the general competitiveness of Florida, are the result of Trump's callousness about the virus.
A week or two ago, I posted an old newspaper article about a rally held by Walter Mondale in NYC just before the 1984 election. The rally was large, much larger than any Trump rally (I think there were 100K there). It was described as enthusiastic. If you're too young to remember Mondale, look up how he did in the election a few days after this large and enthusiastic rally. I guess there's not much out there to give you optimism that Trump can pull this out, so you're grasping at anything that's positive, but seriously, relying on "enthusiasm" is pretty weak.
And car rallies? That shows your desperation. I'm in NY; there have been a few pretty big Trump caravans over the last few weeks, as well as some boat rallies. But nobody, not even the most delusional Trump supporter, thinks they mean that Trump has any shot of winning NY.
