If you enter the game of publicly making jokes with something as serious as EPO, then you need to be ready to face proportional accusations if your improvement in the sport you are mocking at cannot be clearly explained...
Fordy Runs with a video promoting Chinese shoes. I expected him to be very negative to ensure people use Sportsshoes or Start Fitness or whoever he is shilling for but he was actually quite complimentary
The only products Fordy could credible promote are cigartettes and beer. He always looks as having slept under a bridge last night ...
With Hugo, I don’t really see why it matters that much if he’s doping. Yes, there’s an ethical issue. But as dull as his content is, none of it seems to involve selling supplements, training plans, or shilling products on the back of his performances. In fact, despite being one of the fastest influencers, he does not seem to use his times as part of his identity. I am sure this is part of his manicured personality. In my view, he's just been experiencing noob gains over the last few years -- he's not been running long.
agree with every word of this
idiot take, doping and taking part in races is scummy behaviour.
case for fry: young, long legs, hard trainer/racer, wealthy background means all the recovery/extras at his fingertips
against: life and death struggle to break 15 minutes and yet a 63 half marathon is some cathal lombardian endurance
awful form to accuse someone in public with case this flimsy but he's hardly an athlete to root for
Cole has absolutely dropped Ben Connor as coach right, starting to think hes uncoachable
said his GF is coaching him (assume joke) in latest video then laid out what he is planning in the next few weeks in order to peak for london. surely that's the coaches job...
I remember before london last year he said ellis cross was coaching him then quickly turned to "thanks to ellis for some advice". seems like if he doesnt get his way with the strava graph and dick swinging against his idol RTJ he drops them

His idol who runs all the mileage but doesn't convert on race day?

Nico Felich just doesn't have what it takes to run a marathon. He DNF’d the Mesa marathon, his Strava cited anxiety and mental battles. He was mentally destroyed after running 2:52 in Eugene after having a 2:50 goal. He seems like a nice enough kid but in the end it’s just running and we’re all hobby joggers.
Trust me brother, I'm never running a downhill marathon again. Absolutely wrecks your body afterwards. The one I did in June was admittedly me trying to repair my damaged ego after running 3:12 at Eugene. I just felt like I didn't get a fair go at it because I couldn't run for the 3 weeks leading up to the race, so that was my theory as to why I "hit the wall" in that one (had to learn the hard way I really wasn't in shape for it. Still was just 1 year into the sport).
That downhill race is actually my least favorite of the 4 I've done. It was about 300 people, so I was in no man's land for 20 miles of it, and it was pissing ran and on gravel rocks (R.I.P. super shoes, should've used trail shoes) in 38F (3C). The plan was of course CIM in December, but I had another slight injury. I wanted to find the closest race I could that would give me time to run for at least 10 weeks, and I also wanted it to be the largest I could find to avoid no man's land again. I still had flight credits from not being able to go to Sacramento, so that's how I landed on Mesa.
Eugene is actually my favorite course that I've done. The plan for now is to focus on the basics and get better at racing, then have a go at Indy in November. Would love to be able to train internationally, but I don't make a living doing this like RTJ. I work a full time job in office and do this for fun. I started paying someone to help film my videos, but that all comes out of my own pocket. I still edit everything, just helps to not worry about filming myself. It just was taking away from the running to have a go pro and what not. That's what is most important to me.
P.S. Not a "Hyrox/Hybrid bro." Identified with the Hybrid movement for the first year or so, but then realized it was cringe, and that I'm just a guy that is a runner with a weightlifting background
Are you globerunnergriff on IG? If so, massive respect for the transformation and recent performances... if not, still well done for whatever you've done recently lol
Not me but I'm aware of who you're talking about lmao. I did use running in a similar way. Had gotten out of a relationship and put on some weight and lost myself. Picked up some bad habits and running helped me turn it around https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRxPiOTjghB/

Griff with the greatest turnaround in Trials and tribulations history.
From much maligned to the new darling of the thread.
What a legend.
Rivalling the likes of FOD, Brooms, Bester, Marm, RTJ and Crown My Run for most popular and universally liked here.
There’s not many influencers who don’t get shat on here so well done bud
Sure looks like all it takes for the message board to love somebody is for the influencer to post here lol so all the posters just want a little attention 😘 👨❤️💋👨
It’s honestly crazy how quickly posters in this thread will turn on their favorite YT’er. Like two weeks ago the only thing people said about Barraclough’s channel were glowing reviews. Now they make fun of him for plateauing and get really snarky about his high mileage, as if he must change his ways immediately upon their comments. You guys are kind of nuts. Downvote me, that’s fine

I don’t think the mental release of Hugo finally losing his virginity and getting a bird can be underestimated either when analysing his recent performances
