The trumpsters did get swindled just like all those who enrolled into trump university thinking they were going to receive a life changing education.

That's a hard thing to admit even when your guy is denying obvious truths, is tweeting nonsense stuff, and basically showing lack of stability and competence.

It's interesting watching them deny reality. Some don't even accept the fact of Russian hacking. Some buy the idea of all negative reports just being fake news.

Many don't acknowledge trumps bizarre tweets as abnormal.

I wonder how long it took the students at trump university to realize they were played for fools.

There are a number of things that happened during the election that were known even at the time that we are looking at here.

The Russians hacked and released Democrats emails to make them look bad, which would benefit Trump.

The Russians coordinated completely fake news stories through social media that made Hillary look bad - like the one where she had sex slaves in a basement of a restaurant.

And the FBI found numerous instances of Russian interference with US news and communications.

Add to that Trump's consistent positive comments about Russia and Putin.

Add to that Trump's security adviser, Michael Flynn resigned because he lied about contacts with Russia in December during the transition.

Now add to that Jeff sessions lying under oath, unprompted, that he had no contact with Russians during the campaign, when in fact he did.

He wasn't even asked about his contact with Russians. He was simply asked what he would do if he found that others had contact with the Russians. And his response was that he didn't speak with any Russians during the campaign.

Now maybe he was speaking in that he didn't speak about the campaign with Russians, but a good lawyer would know how to give the proper legal answer. How is he the top legal guy in the nation and doesn't know how to communicate under oath?

So what we were are saying here is that there are enough dots out there that we would like to investigate more to connect these dots.

What is the full picture here?

Benghazi was a single event that was investigated to death with no nefarious conclusion.

This is a set of continuous and maybe ongoing events that deserves some clarity.

And now we have the president literally tweeting fake news about wire taps.

At least cite Breitbart as a source.

The wire taps and his fake news tweets are to keep the media talking about anything but Russia.

It's planned chaos.

I will say with all the leaking involved it's fascinating that no one from the IRS has leaked his taxes. One would assume that means there's little controversy or at least no smoking gun, otherwise we'd have seen them already. But then you'd have to ask why hasn't Trump released them if that's the case. I don't have the answer of course, and I'm not interested in conspiracy theories. But I have to imagine it's going to get to the point where the speculation becomes the over arching narrative and to quell it, they're going to have to come out.

the obvious corollary to this is that if the Obama admin were willing to break laws by ordering a phone tap of Trump, why wouldn't they also order the release of the Trump tax returns?

But really the tax thing is overblown. If the IRS can't find anything illegal in the tax returns then there will just be shades of gray and no smoking gun.

I hope no evidence emerges. It would be much more entertaining to watch baby Trump attempt to balance interests of the republican establishment with Pooty (who has the pee pee), while the forgotten man stays stuck in the back of the bus.

DT appears to be unhinged, truly mentally ill. The GOP Congress needs to get with Pence and come up with a work around to avoid DT. Just completely leave him out of all decision making. Once he does something really stupid you then drop him and move on with your agenda.

So, there's two ways to answer your question.

1) I believe they're lying or wrong because they've been proven to be full of sh!t over the course of the last couple years. The FBI turned an investigation of HRC into a subjective assessment ("was there intent?") when it should have been an objective review of the HARD evidence ("setting up a server in your house" was obviously intended for a given purpose, to name just ONE example). Comey has a loooong, friendly history with the Clintons. If you don't know it, look it up. A handful of very long, detailed videos out there. Never been disputed. In addition, Trump has rocked the establishment political-media complex like nothing we have seen before or will ever see again. The FBI is part of that establishment.

...or I could not provide that response, and just answer it this way...

2) The burden of proof is on YOU sir, not ME. You're the prosecutor here. YOU have to PROVE your accusations (...of which, not one Democrat congressman or senator is able to name on national television, despite repeated requests).
