Ask that question after his 5000m race Saturday. The long awaited 1500m outdoor debut will be in Stockholm (3:33.18 won last year).

Kenenisa have a 5000m race in less than a week with Iaasc Songok, Augustine, Choge, Craig Mottram, and Bernard Lagat and then his 1500m debut (3:32-3:33 goal) in Stockholm.

At the time of post, he had run 7:30 for 3K (when he was 17, almost 18). He had already won double World Cross Country gold as well. So, it's not like the f@g that started this thread found the guy jogging through the woods and predicted he'd be the world record holder. He was basically there already!!! He just needed to step on the track and concentrate for 12.5 laps.

Now, regarding whether or not this thread is still relevant:

The subject is "How soon will he....." Well, he did. Like 3 years ago. So the question was answered. End of thread. .....if it weren't for jack@asses like you who encourage the f@g's constant promoting of his own threads.

The author went on later to correct the age of Kenny B.; however, you apparently didn't take time to read. I think Kenny B. will run around 3:34.1 in his debut 1500m at Stockholm.

I don't know as the last I heard he was having good training but I will see if I can find out why he DNF.

As far as the prediction concerning Kenenisa's 1500m debut in Stockholm. I'm gonna wait and see how he performs against Augustine Choge, Bernard Lagat, and Issac Songok next week. He says 3:32-3:33 but you know he wants to run it faster than Haile 3:31-maybe not this meet- alot will depend on who (1 or 2) rabbits for that 1500m and his competition?
