Yeah I wouldn’t say that American Fork is a lock for top 4 in the Southwest right now. Lots of unheard-of SW teams burst onto the scene. Like a team from New Mexico (Rio Rancho). No New Mexico team has made NXN in a long time. But AF does seem to peak at state and NXR

My thought as well. On paper right now they are looking like they could be beat by some teams but they can really put it together when they need to.(Not talking about NXN).

I agree in principle that AF on paper doesn't look to be a lock for NXN, but it's downright disrespectful to one of the greatest dynasties in high school sports period, when we disrespect them like this.
AF will surprise at NXR then go on to get 6th or 7th at NXN.

For the team, to be able to legitimately challenge Herriman I think they need a team average around 12:25. Will be fun to watch, I hope the weather is good.
