Just hearing from my Westwood contact UCLA is saying good bye to cross country
Sprint coaches it is.
Keep pounding the keyboard with the same information, SB.
This has been something in the works for a few years now. With the Director getting fired they will be getting all new coaches by the fall so it only makes sense to do it now. Why wait at this point.
Maybe they should give Kyle Rutledge at Pittsburg State a look. Got quite the streak of D2 championships going with their men right now and women almost won indoors too. Job description says they’re offering between $200,000-270,000 so it seems they are going after a top dog somewhere though. You could argue that Pitt has been the top program in Kansas in recent years.
Chuck can coach man stop it. He might not be everyone's cup of tea. Milton didn't do anything that would prevent him from coaching or leading a program. Lesson learned, besides we see people get fired or resign all the time and land on their feet. Unless you do something really dumb or unsafe.
I doubt Milton Mallard - he just returned to his alma mater UTEP last year as associate head coach. Though if he came to LA maybe he gets to coach Athing Mu again once she realizes he’s much better match for her talents than Kersee:

Genuine unrelated question: Do you view a relationship with your athlete as dumb, unsafe, or lesson learned?
