    I'm not clear why anyone would bring Covid into this conversation, but since you did, Ukraine has 110,640 reported Covid deaths to date, which is roughly on par with civilian and military casualties for the war to date. Russia has 392,775. Make of that what you will.

    So, Merkel knew back in 2014 that Ukraine was going to invade Russia and used the Minsk agreements to buy Ukraine time to plot their invasion?

    Or did Merkel know back in 2014 that Russia was rapidly moving beyond any reasonable diplomatic interaction with the West and would never abide by Minsk (Russia never pulled heavy weapons, let troops cross into Ukraine under the false pretense that they were "police officers" and violated cease fires over and over) such that it was best to take a deal and give Ukraine time to rebuild their armed forces, which were left in shambles by pro-Putin corrupt governments?

    It’s going a lot better for Ukraine than it is for the 70,000 dead Russians, because Ukraine is still a thing and they’re just fertilizer. Kherson is Russia forever, right?

    Such silly exaggerations. But the rate of dead Russian generals has slowed down significantly. It seems that its harder to kill a Russian general when they are always running away.

    Why are you so pro-Russia? What a weird stance to take. And before you respond with some dumb a$$ question yes I’ll side with Ukraine because they were invaded first. from a strategic standpoint I can understand why the US military industrial complex/NATO would have a long term interest in not letting Ukraine become Russia. This isn’t that hard. But obviously I think war is bad.
