I pray they didn't infect Joe Biden.
I pray they didn't infect Joe Biden.
And Pence hasn't released his more recent test results yet

Harris to Pence in one week: "You're the head of the COVID task force, how did you fail to protect POTUS?"
Anyone realize how grossly negligent this White House behavior has been? Besides the fact that they have exposed hundreds of thousands of people to possible infection through their rallies and various photo ops, they are the branch that runs this country (for better of for worse). Even if all infected are asymptomatic it dramatically compromises how effective they can do their jobs because they are now quarantined for an extended period of time.
The White House should have been taking the most precautions. Guess those masks would have been handy, eh Mr. President?

I want no part of a Trump/Biden debate again. However, I look forward to Harris/Pence.
"How can you protect America if you can't protect the President?"
Trump is an irresponsible fool. He is getting what he deserves.
So this is the October surprise.

This is 100% the right response. Conservatives are going to eat up RNC talking points -- attacking anybody who sees the irony of this situation & expressing sympathy towards the President.
I'm not saying that's necessarily wrong, but, if you're doing that, you need to understand how political strategists see you. It's ok to have empathy. I understand why some people will come across as being happy about this and I understand why people would offer up some thoughts/prayers for a speedy recovery.
It should irk every single one of us that well paid GOP strategists are waking up this morning to spin Trump's positive COVID test into sympathy for the President & anger towards anyone who might see the irony of the situation INSTEAD of messaging about how serious the virus actually is, how they mislead the American people for months (an effort that was led by & fueled by the President), and what science says we can do as a country to best combat this thing.
Basically we should be getting an apology for conservative strategists & electeds turning a pandemic partisan. You wear a mask and believe in science if you're liberal -- you don't if you're conservative. That apology won't come & the next several days will be fueled by attacks from the right on any left voice acknowledging the hypocrisy at play in this situation and for not being more sympathetic about the President's health. Would the President care if you contracted the virus? You don't get to mock the pandemic for months & then get to have it both ways. Welcome to where our political system is at in 2020. Pandemics aren't meant to be turned into a hot button political issue. They require real leadership. We didn't get that & we're not going to get an admission of guilt. We're just going to get another wave of the 24 hour news cycle where liberals & conservatives yell at each other back & forth about the wrong things.
The White House have negligent behavior just like the apparatus in middle eastern countries. Actually US as a whole seem more and more similar to middle eastern countries, Russia and China than to European ones.
1 many americans crave for a strong leader rather than a strong government.
2 the number of rich and poor is so high it damages the democracy.
3 people believe in their leader rather than science
4 TV stations and other media channels are either pro trump or against trump
Such a fine and decent human being.

The White House did take the most precautions. There is no person on earth who is more protected from covid than the president.
The one precaution president antichrist failed to take was to protect the nation and stop the spread.
That's why he has COVID-19 right now.

Excellent post. You are of course totally correct, there will be no admission of anything from these bozos. The best we can hope from is that they all turn the page on this trump chapter very quickly and move on to the next thing they could politicize.
Trump made his bed on this and has had plenty of opportunities to change course. And clearly, so have his supporters, enablers and the opportunists who continue to use his disastrous leadership and corruption for self-gain. He deserves every single bad thing coming his way. This is undeniable and that some people on the left are going to say I told you so and even feel good about what's happening will continue not being justification for his horrendous leadership and corruption.
This is officially the trump virus.

No they haven't taken the most precautions. They probably tried but trump is president and without any shred of doubt he has circumvented rules and recommendations. One thing I've seen happen consistently is that people outside his immediate circle keep hitching rides on air force one and marine one. Who is approving that if not him? Surely this is normal ANY OTHER time, but under COVID??? There is no excuse.

Much closer to Russia that way... any wonder trump stole Putin's line of "I'll get us back to when we were so great"
And now, we wait...

Interesting to see those who’ve spent the last few years screaming that Trump’s an uncaring, heartless empathy-devoid b*stard now spewing their gleeful joy that he & his wife have a deadly virus. They’re no better than the man they loathe.
Sure, empathy for the guy who's packing people without masks in rallies, who hid information from the country at the worst time, who just said tuesday that nothing has happened in his rallies so they will continue, who made fun of his opponent for wearing a mask, and who asked his whole group to break the mandatory mask wearing requested by the venue of the debate. The guy said by the weekend the 15 cases will go down to 0, who just yesterday said the young don't get the virus.
He got what he deserved for his actions. Glee and joy are quite low, but doesn't put hundreds of thousands of lives at risk, so no, no comparison even in that case.

I would argue that I'm more protected than he is as I actual follow the basic guidelines set by the CDC. Sure, he gets tested multiple times a day, but it's common knowledge that very few wear masks and social distance inside the White House. Matters not if you take a test at the steps of the Oval Office, if you happened to be exposed to the virus minutes before while you stopped for gas at a nearby station.
At any rate, USA wins again. Getting used to all this winning...
this proves yet again that trump and trumpism are national security threats
if there is a crisis, the prez and others crowd into a tight conference room below the wh.
Can't do that now without hazmat suits.
can't used AF1.
can't use marine1.
Pence tested negative friday morning, which is good.
the world is holding its breath on biden now - the longer the bidens wait to release a test result the more rumours will start flying.
trumps are awful, awful human beings
