TCB is an interesting follow, her very expensive plans are generic...I was provided one through a friend and was grateful I did not spend $145. They are mainly Daniels-modified. Not even as intense as Pfitzinger or Hanson's.

But surely the point of having a coach is that they make the decisions on the training you should be doing and not the other way round? It just comes across as she wanted to do the workout for youtube so she was going to do it regardless of whether it was the correct thing to do running wise...

Superblast 3 embargo is over and every shoe tuber has absolutely creamed themselves hitting that upload button, cringe.

I love the SB2 but the 3 might be the fugliest shoe release of the last few years, and that includes everything done by Puma

Welsh runner is fine ...and that taper, bit sharp, but he should be rested and could be absolutely fine. There is no one size fits all perfect taper and anyone who thinks there is "really hasn't a clue" to quote you.

Probably not ideal , but I've known runners who barely run the week of and can hammer it race day ..and they are far faster than 3"10.

Anyway best of luck to him , hope he manages what he wants.... clueless or not

I have a running buddy who doesn't run at all the last week and he has a 2:53 PR. He says he feels very fresh on race day.

If she wants to stay in touch with team GB she needs results! Bet she is trying to get a spot for team GB at the HM worlds. This event is the big one for road runners in 2026. (Mile and 5k road worlds as well on that weekend there.)

Also a lot of spotlight for sponsors there with 50-65000 runners.

FOD mentions in his latest video he is off to Spain on holiday and whilst there will be meeting up with Fenton for some runs.

FOD - when you film your video for that, can you greet him by saying ‘Hi Fenton’ ? That’s my only request.

He made some comments about Mo Farah which surprised me, not the content of the comments, but it's unusual for a brit to go after one of their own, especially Sir Mo who has always been untouched by the normally ferocious UK media.

That gives RTJ even more credibility. Not like the Let´s run "journalists" who have double standards. I fully agree with him (not only on Farah but in general).

Big problem are always olympic games in the "home country". China, russia, gb, out of the blue so many gold medals..... sure!

The big problem in the last 5 years is the corona break and a wr after wr in the years after the crisis.... everybody knew all doped in the break as much as they could.

I'm looking forward to seeing Goddard blow up again. Why is he even racing, so far his London training block has been a Vo2 test and a Lululemmon track night where they did 30 seconds intervals with about 500 people at once.

I really want him to go out at sub 85 pace and just see him spiral in the second half again. (Shortly followed by a Hugo Fry podcast where they talk about how it's "all part of the game")
