Biden/Harris - and a likely move to a socialistic government and a gradual degradation of the vibrancy of the American economy. Higher taxes. Higher capital gains tax rates. Possible wealth tax. Liberal justices on the High Court. Abortion for all paid for by American taxpayers. A Meritocracy out the window.
Trump - hold my nose and vote for him. A scoundrel? Of course. A vile human being? Most definitely. But his policies have been good for the country and I do NOT want Sleepy Joe and Kamala residing in the Oval Office.
Sally: respectfully, what world are you living in? Did Clinton and Obama wreck the American economy?
A majority of Americans want a certain level of government support and intervention. That costs money, which requires taxes to pay for it. Trump and the GOP have done a great job reducing tax revenue. How's the deficit and national debt looking now?
I can't do much for you if you think that Trump's policies have been good for the country as a whole. Debt is soaring. Gutting environmental protections. Doing his best to remove human decency from the American government with their treatment of immigrants, legal and illegal, and LGBTQ persons. He doesn't care about you or anyone not named Trump. He's not bothered by 200,000 Americans dying from this virus. The GOP lost their minds over three needless deaths in Benghazi. How about now? If Clinton had been president and one-tenth that number had died, you know very well that the GOP would be screaming bloody murder about it.
Abortions will stop the day unwanted pregnancies stop. Supporting policy decisions that enact commonsense solutions to limit unwanted pregnancies and providing support to expecting mothers is the way to reduce abortions. Every other industrialized nation has managed to afford new mothers extended paid leave without destroying their economy. Why can't the United States do the same?
