Good call. 2nd behind Belen Jesuit with 200 pts, ahead of Jesuit LA
I didn't expect they'd beat Jesuit LA but for some reason people have been really underrating Marvin Ridge this season. I guess its because they dont have anybody thats going to run with the leaders of these large races and rely more on pack scoring. They were 7th at NXR SE last year on a day where one of their normal top scorers finished last on the team and over 80 seconds slower than he had run at Wakemed earlier that season. They weren't far off qualifying last year if he had a normal performance and they return 6 of those 7 guys this year.
They lost to Knoxville Catholic earlier this year at Adidas so i think Knoxville should be considered the favorite for 2nd spot this year at NXR SE but Marvin Ridge is right there.

Nike XC Town Twilight
Jack Bowen wins Mccallie 8th as a team
So it does look like Knoxville Catholic is the favorite for second in the Southeast. They had 6 guys under 16 earlier in the season
Herriman could go to Desert Twilight, that meet is a possibility each season for us. Anything after the end of September doesn't work because we start our post season early here in Utah. The reason I've been told is because it starts snowing early here, which over the past couple of seasons seems justified. Having attended Manhattan twice with teams, I can tell you that would be a fun race for us and it would be great if it were a possibility, but unless Utah shifts the state meet back a bit, we are pretty much stuck with Aug or Sept meets for travel at this point. I don't pick our travel trips, the athletes do. Had the decision been mine, we most likely would have done Desert Twilight this year, but again, the athletes pick it, and they really love the Woodbridge trip (can't blame them). Best of luck to the teams racing this weekend!
I appreciate you bringing your teams around the country. I knew your 2015 GO boys squad was gonna be great after their junior track season, but it was impressive to see how they bounced back from the narrow loss to Timpanogos at the Firman invite that year to win NXN (and go on to set the 4x1600 record the next year).

I remember he brought Great Oak out to Great American in NC back in 2019, they swept the team titles the same year Graham Blanks and Katelyn Tuohy both won going away

That was also the first time the Loudoun Valley boys team lost a XC race since 2016
Seems good. My take is Niwot and CBA are basically 2a and 2b so the order there is fine. AF seems overvalued but they can improve a lot and might have had slightly off races.
