States and cities competing with each other for businesses with tax giveaways hurts the tax base on a net level throughout the country.

Curious you mention that. When Trump got elected. Venezuelans commented how much the situation reminded them of how the populist Chavez got to power and destroyed Venezuela . Chavez also shared the similar personality traits: a complete narcissist, unaware of his ignorance, full of self confidence from surrounding himself with "yes men", he knew better than all experts on any topic, willing to say or promise whatever is needed to get supporters behind him, etc

Yes, we do need to deploy more a lot more charge points. But that's not a big issue. They aren't very expensive.
Since the electrical grid is practically everywhere, it's a lot easier to build out EV infrastructure than it was to build out gas stations.
Today Trump said he will not pledge to a peaceful transition of power after the elections. Peaceful transition is a cornerstone of the constitution.
In the coming weeks Trump and Reps will praise their nominee for the US Supreme Court as standing up for the construction and its values, shouldn't Trump abide by the fundamental value of the constitution and be able to pledge for a peaceful transition?

The poster "agip" has said a lot of stuff but I honestly don't recall that s/he ever said that, or anything like it. I think agip would know that a sitting President cannot be indicted.

it's more subtle than that...the Rs are going to play with the electoral college - try to have voting tossed out, in favor of Republican legislatures send Republican electors, even if Dems win the state.
That way the results are actually a Trump win so he doesn't have to concede. And perfectly constitutional, probably.
