Maybe. But I'm having a hard time with the idea that Trump has any "code" or moral compass at all.

Nothing seems to have stopped him from criticizing Sessions. Nobody said nicer things or acted more loyally than that guy. But Trump was merciless.

The major theme of my post was that Trump's approach was counter productive because it set up situation where compliance would be a public loss of face for Kim Jung Un.He would be humiliated to the leaders in his country who do have access to outside information, he would be humiliated because other world leaders would know he lost face.So your comment about the citizens of North Korea not having internet was correct but it did not refute the premise of the post.Setting up conditions where compliance results in public humiliation is a very stupid way to negotiate.Agreed?
