How does something like that even become public knowledge? Googled it and it literally just comes back to this thread
Does anyone have receipts on this? This is the kind of unsubstantiated message board rumor that I both love and hate. It's such basic gossip but also there's enough of a track record of the boards exposing this kind of thing to make it worth keeping an eye on. Also isn't the guy's name Jamaine or am I thinking of someone else?

Do better . Rumours like this have a way of reaching ppl and doing harm. Why would you do that.
I was hoping it was about Archer. That body of hers is unreal
Many of these influencers look and act like children. Having a user name "running daddy" and looking or thinking about them this way is deeply disturbing.
I do wonder if the likes of Fashion Jogger have an audience consisting entirely of Running Daddys.
Is Cole still under coach Ben Connor? Ben is setting ridiculously high mileage for Cole if so, 26 miles in total today after a long run yesterday :o and 158 miles last week.
I know Cole does still have a proper job but he clearly has the time, motivation and talent to do well in the marathon, so this sort of mileage is pretty normal for people meeting that criteria. For a 3:30 marathoner it would be overkill, but realistically pretty much all of the elite guys will be doing this
Cole said hes working part time, so probably a couple of hours a day.
I wish him all the best but hes not training around a 9 hour day.
Kofuzi is really out of his mind when it comes to racing shoe regulations. In his Hoka Cielo X1 3.0 review, at around the 14-minute mark, he claims that the Rocket X3 cannot be used in races if your shoe size is above US 9. What on earth? Doesn’t such an experienced reviewer know anything about shoe rules? For example, FOD Runner probably doesn’t have a single racing shoe with a midsole under 40 mm, because the midsole thickness naturally increases with shoe size. That doesn’t mean the shoe is illegal.
Anyone got running youtuber recs for channels run by people with actual jobs?
I'm sure I'd find the content much more enjoyable than ET looking MFers like Ben Fenton running around Spain with other guys who look like lost baristas.
Also, anyone reading this that gives money to any of these influencers by patreon, may I suggest a lobotomy?

The thing about Kofuzi is, even though he's been making videos about running for a decade, he actually knows about as much as someone who started running a week. His understanding of pretty much everything is surface level.
This wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if he didn't state complete nonsense as facts.
Anyone else notice a bunch of these influencers, Allie O, and one other guy’s vid I watched at least, are flocking to Mesa Half Marathon? OF COURSE.
I checked the elevation profile and its 200ft of drop.
In b4 anyone starts the claim of “oh its actually really not an easy course!” I’ve run long tempos on that sort of mild gradient, pace is always 5-10 seconds per mile fast, and there is no significant added pounding over an ~ hour race, especially with supershoes.
No doubt zero of them will mention this in the race recaps

FOD just jealous he didn't get a full blown sponsorship like Bester with Adidas.
Getting on the Chinese shoe market under the guise of trying to be hip and cool like sirpoc. Just like following that garbage NSM training and getting worse.
Floberg proving once again why he's one of the most frustrating runtubers out there in his latest vid.
Runs a half in below average conditions to be fair, but fails to properly acknowledge the tailwind for the first half and goes out at pb pace because for some reason he thinks not only is he in pb shape, but the snowy course and wind is the perfect day to try it.
Blows up into the wind on the way back and runs 77mins (we've all been there, no hate on that).
But then proceeds to claim that's a low 73 effort on a good day and he's back in pb shape.
Based off of what exactly Eric? What exactly in your training has indicated that you're in half marathon pb shape? Your treadmill mile?
The guy has no clue about what actually shape he's in, ever. He ALWAYS overestimates his fitness and NEVER learns any lessons.
Is the half Floberg ran a good one? Looks brutal, cold, windy, weird start times--10:01, 10:29, rather than 10:00 and 10:30, etc.

That's great, actually. I mean that someone who really is a pro athlete actually benefitted from it. And someone who seems pretty decent human being if you can tell anything from social media which yeah, i know, you can't really. But doesn't post nonsense, just quietly cracks on is what i mean.
She is and comes from a good family.
No trust fund there, sister works hard as a doctor and she worked full time before she got some support to help train for Tokyo.
That's encouraging! She also has a financial degree and a great job so she'll be fine and never struggle either. At least she appreciates it! (Unlike trust-funders).

Kofuzi is not perfect but I'd still take him over Floberg.
To add to the unsubstantiated nonsense, I've noticed Jess from the Running channel seems to be spending a lot of time with her former ex Ben parker (the posh bloke from Runna). Either they're on weirdly good terms for former partners, or they're back together...
