Yes, I think you are both right. It will need to be at a time when neither side believes that that the electoral college gives them an advantage.
But we don't have to be completely cynical. There are many, many people who will support ditching the EC just because it's the right thing to do.
The LR lib echo chamber only cries about the Electoral College when it goes against them. This is classic sore loser groupthink.
IA, OH, TX, GA, FL are a lock for Trump right now. NH is going to flip red. MI & WI are tilt red. MN is a tossup and PA is a tossup. Trump will get 313 electoral votes, minimum.
Enjoy your loss.
Do you tap your red-shoed heels together when you say that? Man, that's the biggest load of wishful thinking crap I've ever heard.
Iowa? Who cares about Iowa? Not one that Biden is supposed to flip.
Ohio? It's close enough to not be able to call it a lock for Trump.
Texas? This one is even closer than Ohio. Biden even leads in a couple recent polls. Definitely not a lock for Trump.
Georgia? Another GOP stronghold that you shouldn't be crowing about if Trump wins it. Biden is up in two recent polls, so definitely not a lock for Trump.
Florida? Of the 5 polls that came out recently, Biden is leading in 4 of them, and the only one Trump leads in is the very partisan Trafalgar Group (R) poll. Biden is going to win Florida.
Biden will win NH, PA, MN, MI, WI.
You are a dreamer, Biff, only your dreams are f*ckin' stupid.
