Serious question for the Libs here. Do you really want a president who has to hide in his basement and is too much of a coward to take serious questions?

What's the over/under on how many posts there will be by 000 hours on Election Day?
I'm guessing about 109,300 but could be way off.

I don't qualify as a Lib, I guess--have never voted on the Democratic line for anyone--but I would certainly take Joe Biden over Donald Trump. I plan to vote for America rather than for Trump.
It doesn't bother me that Biden, like Trump, is trying to avoid getting sick--after all, they're both males aged 70+. And if a guy with a speech impediment, who's know for costly gaffes, has sense enough to avoid answering questions on the spur of the moment, I'm okay with that. Trump's method--either to ignore a tough question entirely, or to say something that doesn't actually answer it--doesn't seem any better IMO.
Plus Biden hasn't committed any felonies that I know of, so there's that...

Extortion, bribery and foreign corruption are all felonies, I believe. Plus, what he did with Tara Reid is much worse.

So you only speak to felonies, which I guess means you're okay with my take on the two men's avoiding getting sick, and on their answering (and *not* answering) questions.
Which were the two things you initially asked about.
Good to know. Glad we're on the same page.

right now Nate gives Trump a 29% chance of winning, but much of that is based on the amount of time left before the election. Biden is so far ahead right now that if the polls are the same in November, Nate would have the race as 90% likely to go to Joe.
So every day, Rs are sweating another missed opportunity to close the race. Just 57 chances, Spankers. Feel the pressure. Tick tock.

A 10% chance is far too great. If president antichrist gets four more years we could literally be doomed as a species. I am not at all comfortable with Biden having only a 90% chance of winning.

This is precisely why we must get rid of the antiquated electoral college.
The president is elected to be the leader of all Americans. But he can never be that if he isn't the candidate with the most votes.
As it is now, only the battleground states really matter. If you don't live in a battleground, your vote for president is a waste of time.

Getting rid of the electoral college would be a good thing. It is also essentially impossible to do.
Getting rid of it by constitutional amendment requires the buy-in of 38 out of the 50 states. That does not seem possible.
Getting around the need for a constitutional amendment by a group of states simply agreeing to give their electoral votes to whomever wins the majority vote nationwide is not much more of a realistic possibility.

maybe when Texas and GA go blue the Rs will have a rethink and suddenly be amenable to a popular vote
Florida seems to be tightening up a lot...Biden's lead is shrinking.
If 538 decides Trump is leading in FL, the odds of a Biden EC win drop dramatically and overnight.
Although there is always a lack of quality polling in big expensive diverse states.

Ummm... I wonder why Bill Barr's DOJ has not indicted anyone associated with Biden. Is he another Deep State agent like Mueller?
In the meantime...
Paul Manafort.
Rick Gates.
Roger Stone.
Michael Cohen.
Michael Flynn.
George Papadapoulos.
Steve Bannon.
Lev Parnas.
Igor Furman.
Chris Collins.
Duncan Hunter Jr.
Paul Erickson.
George Nader.
Elliot Broidy.
What do these people have in common?

Sadly, that was a very good and accurate post.

a trademark of Republicans is that they care a lot more about imaginary crimes by Democrats than about actual crimes by Republicans.

I guess I’m only worried about the options that defy odds of winning. He will cheat to stay in power.

An excellent assessment, it seems very subservient to me.
