Actually these were the "women" at this self promoted and self thrown birthday party. Many have since gotten smart after his lies of why he was leaving social media once they learned he hit Rock Bottom. Women generally aren't fans of getting beaten by a drunken, lying lush.

Providing examples of verifiable postings could go a long way, such as from Twitter and Facebook. One was just posted here where he said "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face." He has posted about making stops by people's homes, etc. Postings from LR are a little trickier given that they are anon, but some have been verified or rise to the level of there is no doubt who posted it and can be verified if need be.
Keep anything submitted professional and on point and which can demonstrate and show that he threatened people, including children, bullied people and children, his misogynistic postings (dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women), called into question paternity, and demonstrated he lied, even since his arrest with his two twitter accounts. This information may be the difference of between the charges being dropped if the victim is too scared to testify and not being dropped if the DA can see that was not an isolated incident and that his behavior has escalated and will continue to do so. Think about it, the Kenny Cheney concert he was arrested for criminal trespass, after given ample opportunity to leave the premises by the arena personnel and then similarly the police. Fast forward one year, he is charged with simple assault, of a woman no less! One shudders to think what is next given that he carries.
Never in my day here at letsrun (since 2005) have I seen as much hatred spin out of control except for maybe the Boston Marathon bombers when we all united together.
I get it. Maybe some of you went for the qualifier, trained months on end and didnt get in. But still you benefit from the journey of staying fit and going for your respective goals
Not to play a slight devil's advocate, I want to discuss two things.
1) how many guys I have met just like Mike Rossi but didnt go for the big kahuna. I'll just shar me one.
2) how I see a relatively high functioning alcoholic in all these pictures who at first rode the tidal wave of friendly fame who is now in a concentric hell of his own doing
First, I cant tell you how many times I have met people who let one slip. Either shaving a few seconds off their mile PR or claiming to go faster than they did in a workout. At my high school graduation party, I had a nice display of senior pictures, pictures from homecoming, prom and my friends and then another collage of all my athletic achievements. Pretty standard. One of my extended cousins on my mothers side had a husband who was a spanaird but from Mexico. Like several generations later of a conquistador. He was shady and even kind of looked like Mike Rossi except older. He was in local meixcan-american tv documentaries, quoted in the news to speak on the behalf of the mexican community and always leading these student groups down to Mexico. He was the guy that could show you around but not a guy you'd want to let to close to you. At my graduation he saw my pictures in the collage. He comes up to me and says, "what was your mile PR? I ran sub-4 in mexico city once." At 18 years old I knew better and just let him have it. The narcissist, 50 years my senior, was trying to one up a kid on his graduation party day. Pathetic. I looked it up later just for giggles and found it nowhere. Fast forward to years later, turns out he had a second family in Mexico and it completely ripped apart his family back home. His wife left him. Kids went to counseling. Now the oldest daughter is boning some thug black dude and wont talk to her dad. He lost everything and so that's what he deserved. The point is people like Mike Rossi always get what is coming to them. Mike just took his arrogance to a new level and got majorly hosed with that letter to the principal.
I still dont like where this thread is going though. This is pure evil, not even eye for an eye evil, evil evil. All the very bad tendencies on this website come to life right here. This is horrible and the quoted posts do remind me of a rectangular concentric hell.
The second part I invite you all out to the pretend bar with me. Birthdays. Thursday night. Hey how about after the concert? How about after we just got paid? Point is, the alcohol is flowing and youre feeling good about yourself. "Hey Mike, how was your run today, Mr. Runner guy?" So you say 8:10 pace instead of 9:10 pace. Then the next get together, "I went 20 today, cheers!" Then at the next birthday, round of shots, bro. "Cheers to Mike and being fit! This guy ran 7:45 mile pace, isnt that amazing? He's on the radio too! What a guy! How do you do it, Mike?" And it built, and built, and built. Endorphins. Alcohol. More endorphins. More alcohol. Lies kept rolling and the one upping was equally addictive. Cant stop, wont stop. I mean wow, I bet you right now he wishes he just kept his mouth shut and enjoyed the journey of a 4-hour marathon guy. Who cares if he qualified for Boston? I know plenty of guys who run 4-hours and its okay. He could have just been that runner dad guy who ran 25 minutes in his local 5k. Nothing wrong with that. Even if he ran 30 minutes. He could be skinny fat fit, have his family and friends cheer him on and just be average. It can be almost noble to say, "I am so slow" on the radio in a self-depracating way. Cheers to that. Point is, alcohol fueled his fire and he got addicted to the high of being mr radio show talk show host and that cool runner dad guy at night. And all that is left after being exposed is that same alcohol to secure his demise. Kind of reminds me a little of McNulty from the Wire, up and down all the time until his toxicity ruined everything twice or more.
Hey Mike, if youre reading this, shut the evil banshees up and take a load off, friend. Just come clean. The internet may not forget but they'll be off your back. Then it clears your conscience and you can sleep at night. The sun will shine in the morning and the air will seem calm and fresh. Your true people will come up to you and say, "Mike, we never didnt like you and we are glad you finally came clean." I believe you cheated but carrying this out is certainly no way to live. You have a long road to recovery but for god sakes put down the bottle. Every one of your mess ups seems related to alcohol. It is poison. Just come clean and get these animals off your back. Keep a low profile and get your sh!t together man. Every obstacle can be an opportunity. I mean, your opportunity might be in front of school kids at assemblies and heroin addict groups as a motivational speaker but embrace it.

That's not how the participants in the old thread saw it (me included).
We saw that aging wannabe-alpha, dishing out left and right as you describe.
But we also saw his behavior towards those "who made it" in persona of the weatherwoman who is a runner's 10.
And we got the idea that hr planned a "public comeback" riding the Boston Bombing.
This is where it turned foul. Duck-walking on the victims is what is so upsetting.
And that is where there is the doubt if he really drove at VIA himself...
Had he cheated the same way in Boston, but a few year's earlier, he might have come away with "just" the letter.
Since the beginning of the Mike Rossi cheating saga, people have asked him to come clean, think of his family, apologize to the many he threatened, and do the right thing many times. Even now that same request remains.
He has steadfastly to do so, now engaged in whitewashing his bullying internet past while facing a judge on Monday.
MIKE IS 100% TO BLAME FOR HIS ACTIONS.
Everything that came after the 2014 Via marathon is a result of his cheating and then lying about it. He claims he takes full responsibility yet given his sanitation project, we know his deception remains. Only after punching a woman and getting arrested did he find it fortuitous to offer a feeble explanation. Still no admission of his cheating guilt or threatening others with death.
With no admission of the cheating and without sincere apologies to those he wronged, THIS NEVER GOES AWAY.

It's really kind of funny. My wife and children have been brought up in all of the Rossi threads anonymously for over 2 years and I never cheated in a race. I know who's making the comments and it's one of two people. The main difference is that if I could make it stop I would but I can't. He can take a few simple steps to end it all but off to court he goes again.
