A lot of top boys teams in the SE and South will be lining up this weekend at Great American. Belen Jesuit, Jesuit (LA), Marvin Ridge, Trinity (KY) plus Ridgefield from CT is coming down per the entries. I'd expect Belen Jesuit to win but should be a good race.

Should give a good temperature on Ridgefield. Idt they can compete with CBA, but look to be the number 2 in the northeast based on last years times. If not Haddonfield is the frontrunner for the second spot at nxr.

bowdoin was also speed rated about 2-3 points lower this year. Considering barrett ran this race completely alone it is very impressive. Definitely an NXN favorite after that.

Would be crazy if he can go sub 12 at Manhattan. Would love to see him take a crack at king Ches's record.

Barrett is legit. Not sure if CBA will enter a top squad at Shore Coaches ahead of Manhattan but I do think he’s capable of 15:0x at Holmdel by November.

Marvin Ridge beat lots of good Southeast teams. Second spot of still going to be a battle in this region. There are two Tennessee teams that are very good and weren’t at Great American: McCallie and Knoxville Catholic (the team that has Keegan Smith).
Ridgefield opened up their season and took 6th. Obviously CBA is winning the Northeast, but I wonder if any team in that region can challenge Ridgefield for the second spot. Obviously this is Ridgefield’s first race, so I guess they will improve as the season goes on.

JB can probably run 15:08 at Holmdel right now. 15:25 at Bowdoin 2 weeks ago.
