For all of Trump's faults he deserves credit for one thing. He certainly knows his followers well.
When he said he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and they would still love him most thought it was braggadocios hubris. But most did not recognize it to be a full blown cult at that point. Yet he must have seen how gullible and captivated they were with him as he stood at his many rallies and spoke pure BS. He must have seen the crowds all nodding in agreement to the most idiotic things he would say again and again. He must have seen their gullibility when he put a stupid red cap on his head. How it would cause all his followers to go give him their money and buy red hats to do the same. I think that the biggest part of the crime is that it resulted in exposing our whole country to 6, going on 7, years of the worst our form of corrupt government that a democracy sometimes produces. I was once a moderate, fairly apolitical person who sometimes voted Republican and other times voted Democrat - depending a lot on the personality, record, and temperament of the politician. I was more anti-Trump than pro-Hilary or pro-Biden in the last two elections. At this point, however, I have become anti-Republican owing to the support Republicans still provide to Trump.
Trump would never have been president had he not hidden those stories from the public. It turns out he hid and covered up the payments while in office, from a company in NY. That’s apparently a prosecutable crime in NY and it looks to be an open-and-shut case. No bubble. Story has been known for ages. Pecker and Cohen admit to it. There’s a recording where Trump was part of it. It just takes time to prosecute a president who used and uses his office to delay the inevitable guilty verdict.

Ironically, I just heard a radio show host in NYC state that he guarantees local prosecutors will go after both Clintons for their Clinton Foundation Scam where they clearly committed several felonies and the left knows it.
